Hello!  I'd like to be an admin!

Situation that I disagree with:

An admin kicking/banning a player, without warning, for chat abuse.  I think a warning goes a long way.  It also prevents complaints of "why did you ban me I did nothing wrong."

Situation that I agree with:

Banning a player for 5 minutes for teamwounding after a warning in-game.  This gets the point across that the behaviour needs to stop, but is not an excessive ban.  A slap on the wrist.

Situation that I disagree with:

Admin kicks the last player alive on a team, a horse crossbowman, for "delaying."  Said horse crossbowman was riding around shooting (and hitting) the enemies.  The admin did not even warn, just kicked the guy.  Maybe that guy could kill them all, maybe he had a multiplier.  The remaining players could easily have picked up a crossbow/taken cover for MOTF rather than complain in chat.  Obey the rules, not the masses (of complaining two-handers).

I'm still interested in being an admin.

I play a lot, obey the rules, report griefers, don't rage in chat or on the forums, and have a pretty clean record.

All I can say is I'd be fair and unbiased, everyone would get treated equally. I have a great understanding of the rules and believe this game should be played to have fun, so it'd be my goal to preserve that enjoyment for the rest of the community. I am firm believer in investigating situations before dealing out punishment too. If the only knock on me becoming admin is because I'm a little opinionated on the forums then I am fully capable of holding my thoughts back publicly.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention. If I was to be chosen, I would institute the Forum Sperg Prevention Program (FSPP). The goal of the FSPP is to prevent shitlords from shitposting on the ban/unban request. Basically the way this program works is that if you post a clearly erroneous ban thread, or are found lying in said thread, you get a twenty four  hour ban.

Both Shik and Canary do. It's always been a slow process though. We look into each serious candidate that is brought up, discuss how they will fit on our team, etc. I believe were prepared to add two members to the NA Admin roster currently, but are waiting for one or two more. It would seem both Shik and Canary like to add administrators in waves.
