i agree.  however, was this fix because you didnt catch bugs, or because of community outrage?  do you need help testing patches before they're released or do you not have the infrastructure to do private releases to test?

Everything working as intended. The hotfix was scheduled for today, even before releasing the patch.

That's why cRPG is a beta. You people are testers. We have a small group of testers for bugs, but you can't balance a game based on 10 testers.

and about the new dtv?when will it be connected with the database?

Just finished playing some DtV.

Not sure what the outrage is, was a fairly fun game (but most I was playing with were competent). I enjoyed it a lot, because I could use all my equipment and there was no upkeep. I say, keep DtV as no upkeep. The "rewards" as they currently are, won't cover upkeep for anyone. Plus, it would take a long time to grind on it now for gold and exp, compared to how it was. So.. let players use all their equipment without going broke, to enjoy a game against NPCs while gaining a little exp and gold.

Seems like a fair solution, than going to the opposite extreme of how it had been.

Edit: Also it didn't really seem like exp/gold reward was going up much for each new round? Those will definitely have to be increased by a lot, if you plan to have upkeep in DtV or else it will be unplayable.

What you mean by beta? and what will you do with CRPG when it gets out of beta state? Gonna release it for retail ? lol ... and Strategus? meh i guess its just an addon, like Burning Crusade IE lol

I see the whole beta thing, as buffer. Beta Excuse.  less responsibility etc.

You have thousands of players beta testing your mod atm, giving you feedback on bugs nerfs buffs daily. But you still deny most of them. Or make the canges.. but overdo them

Beta for strategus I'm guessing. Plus when/if crpg is finished it can be advertised as a finished and complete mod.

However, it seems like one of those mods that will constantly balance things over and over.

We been testing this shit with thousands of players for 1.5 year now. giving chadz and the mods feedback on the forums daily on tons of shit. Wtf is going on? DTV wtf?

Do these patches mean I should revert the Garrus's fix, you now that line in the module.ini that I changed for cRPG to work?

Increase the repair costs is stupid, even 5%.

Repair cost was increased by 2%, break chance was decreased by 1%. I really can't spot the drama.

Repair costs should be reduce not increase.
