Yesterday, I received this again, but my team didn't exactly lose. The time ran out.

After helping my team make a really nice comeback, we ended up chasing an HA for the last minute and a half. There were 10 seconds left so I tried to charge the HA. At 2 seconds left I jumped and lunged in with my awlpike and was shot at point blank range and died. There were a few others trying to chase this cav, so the game tied and I received it.

My experience: I've gotten this several times, usually after a kill-streak near the end of the round.  My theory is the text is awarded either a) after a killstreak of X size, or b) if you kill X more players than the next highest person on your team.

Doubt it.

A) chadz said its not kills related. This is to prevent kill stealing.
B) I received it when I had only 1 kill and 1 death. Maybe you just need at least 1 kill to trigger it, this is to make sure you are not just camping. Or maybe not related to K/D at all (it's just that people who survived that long usually get some kills anyway).
C) I doubt it's easily reproducible, there has to be some chance involved. Otherwise it will just encourage people to camp and not contribute to the team.

Random chance for the last few people alive seems like a good guess.

I've got it when I was last man standing () and 4 guys raped me with pole and 2h, I died and recevied this.

I think it might happen when the enemies are a certain percent more than your team. Like if you are 5 left on your team fighting 25 enemies it would maybe happen.

I do think it only happens sometimes when those requirements are met. Maybe if the enemies are x2 the number of you there is a 10% chance it happens, and if the enemies are x3 there are a 20% chance it happens, and so on.

its very logical for them to put something like this, coz then ppl can abuse less about this mechanism.

If you lost then the following happens:
X1 modifier goes to X2

High multipliers only go down one step instead of all the way back down to X1.
