The opinion of the 13 Knights:
War. Odd, at this time. I would have assumed everyone was going to use this time to capture all the AI fiefs, then once they were all gone, focus on real enemies.
Personally, we of the 13 Knights are very, very cool with this. We, as you know, left Frisia because they didn't give us orders to attack* soon enough and went on our own and took New Shulus. Then, after joining Acre, we gifted it to Fenris. Then we rebuilt and took New Slezkh Castle, which we gifted to our liege, the rightful King of Calradia, James of Acre.
Since then we've been ready and itching to take something else. Our poor king had his hands full stopping us from attemping to take castles from neighbour's and ally's lands. We were always asking him, 'Let us take this', and he'd say, 'no, that is claimed by others'. Now the 13 Knights are truly feudal in spirit. We do not give our silver to the king, we exchange our military service for his aid. But we follow his rules, and when we can't kill, it is... it is... Frustrating and angrifying. We trade, we make money, we arm. For what? For now.
We are desertward now.
*By the way, Sanderson, you sent a message to Dirk when he was in camp instead of to me to attack New Mechin. Due to that mix up I got impatient and took New Shulus. If you had sent that message to me, the map of Strategus might look different.
