What Jona fails to deliver in a polite way, is that majority of positive feedback (said in-game, at least) about new DTV comes from people who leech there or treat it exclusively as a gold/exp farm, while much of complaining was done by people who always played DTV because they enjoyed it, they enjoyed the freedom, they enjoyed the "limitless" (not always smart) ways to engage bots and have fun.
I'm not saying the current DTV is utter shit, some of the things done by mapmakers are fun and we all appreciate them, but this stuff is just going in the wrong direction.

Wise words there master Pendragon, now let me tell my story. I have always loved dtv for the day I started to play crpg and have think I have spent at least 75% of my crpg time on dtv, and I have been in the two best dtv clan(leading one of them too) I think it's fair for me to say that I know my dtv.
One of the thing I loved most with dtv was to make an head on charge strait in to the bots and slash through them with my nodachi, but the best part of dtv was the guys community there, mostly nice guys(with some exceptions ofc, but you have to take that this is after all crpg
) which you could have fun with playing with and have a great time. Because of that I could play there for hours without getting bored and still have fun.
But after Fips started to "flips" with it its not the same thing any more, I don't think have have play more then 30min straight of dtv since it got updated. So how could that make a guy who spent almost all his playing time on dtv to stop playing there? Simply cause it just got so boring just doing the same shieldwall all the time, even tho there have been some fixes that have made it not dat broken, and I'm thankful for that. To do the same thing over and over again is not fun, that was the good thing with old dtv there you at least had a choice, you could form an shield wall/use a roof/fence or other stuff or simply charge head on. I must admit that after testing some of the maps now they have become a bit better, but still not close to the old once.
Some thing that also have changed is that nowadays noone asks if you want to play some dtv, they say "Hey let's go and leech on dtv and get some exp" and that is what dtv has become a leecher heaven. And not enough with that but you also use those leecher as an argument that new dtv is better because it got more population. Hell no its not like that sure eu7 is mostly full but there is rarely over 15 guys on hre server and before one of the servers were also almost full all the time, but it was not uncommon at all that both servers were full and I don't see that happen now. I for a fact know a lot of guys who played mostly dtv( and a lot) not playing now/ or very rarely(I'm one of them). I say fuck the leechers and make this gamemod for those who really enjoyed it again!
I'm not saying that you should try to improve the mod cause it's a great thing!
but when it go the other way and things become worse like with dtv it's sad. And then when you are to proud to commit it and use arguments like the one I wrote before things have gone wrong. But who knows after a year or something dtv might be a great gamemod again who knows.
I just want to say that I didn't write this post to just shit on Fips and others I just wanted to express my feeling about what dtv has become. Even thought I don't generally don't like what dtv has become everything is not bad, like stuff as balistas, new waves(really awesome and I love that
) and the map with a gate which you could open that one I liked basically because you had a lot of choices, you could charge out, make a shield wall or use the gate mechanism. Now when I think about it I must have played more the 30min straight on that map. Stuff like that is great and you should keep that up!
