I'm not sure if I want to do a mini-public beta test (as in, opening the new version with the old map/ownerships for 3 days so everyone can see and test the new changes - would also mean people can plan ahead on how to do things when the real game starts)
Yes, please do. And 3 days might be too short. Test and test again, i'm sure it needs a lot of balancing, bugfixes and tweaks.
If you activate strategus, the rat race begins again and we'll all feel obliged to spend a lot of time on it.
Do small scale closed beta tests first to ensure it's ready for full scale. Please?
