I'm talking about Islam. Ignorance means you are forgiven in Islam. As in if you didn't know it was against the religion and did it, or say if you ate pork without knowing it was pork and then found out later, then it's forgiven. So in Islam if you were in community that didn't really know about Islam, even if you knew it existed, then when you die you are still forgiven. It's only if you have real knowledge of something and still choose to do it that you are condemned.
As to the second part...well then that's just ignorance so I guess you are forgiven
