I'll throw my hat in for an adviser (
non-getting burnt at the stake as a witch non-voting) role. Most of my posts outside of the "post gifs that describe c-rpg" thread seem to be in suggestions/game balance anyway, so it wouldn't seem like work.
I mainly play 1h/shield, but I've played through at least one gen each of agi stack/balanced/str stack for 1h+shield/Polearm/2h/Thrower/Archer/2h Cav/1h+shield Cav in order from most experience to least experience.
I lack experience playing Xbow/HA/HX/Lancer.
I'm familiar enough with the module system to suggest solutions outside of just altering basic item stats (Scripting with the module system is fairly easy to learn. It seems extremely high level vs most programming languages.)
I like playing around with different weapons, ideally I'd like to have as many non-peasant weapons as possible be viable enough in comparison to whatever's the FoTM so that they don't seem like rarities in actual gameplay.
I value "fun" gameplay over realism e.g. I'd be against changing the following, and would at least advocate for smaller steps in changing the following if they came up for discussion, even if the change would favor me (like shield bash damage).
Getting hit by a plated charger at full speed doesn't instantly KO/kill everyone.
Full plate isn't basically invulnerable to most attacks.
Shield forcefields vs projectiles.
Block forcefields in general for melee.
Throwing lances don't take people in chainmail or under out of action on leg/chest hit.
Super duper permagrip until death on melee weapons, no slipping from rain.
Rigid swords and daggers don't get ruined if hit by a bar mace, mauls don't knock weapons out of people's hands.
No arm/leg crippling.
Staves/axe handles never break.
Axes/picks/morningstars never get stuck inside people/shields.
Steel shields/really heavy pommel strikes deal zero damage to people in chainmail/leather, even if you hit them in the face.
Weapons don't get stuck inside dirt/walls.
Infinite stamina, no sprinting.
