Tested with a movement speed calcuation script.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I finally made a movement speed test on a complete flat 1020x1020m map.
I tested two different builds(0str/30str) with different carry weights(10/20/30/40/50/100).
The strange thing is, that strength actually lowers the speed if it has a higher value than agility.
Only if strength is on the same level as agility, you wont get any speed penalty from strength.

But now lets take a look on how much strength reduces the speed penalty from weight.
As you can see strength has an effect on the movement speed.
It's not realy that much, but better than nothing.

so str does have an effect, as he pointed out, its not much, but it's still true

Of course it does. Have you ever tried different builds while using the same weapon?

and as he says, trying different builds makes it look that way, maybe it's an illusion cause your movement speed is faster
maybe some1 can write a script to test that out aswel

it's not cuz someone's a developer that he knows everything, there's so many scripts workin together that the final result can be different, thats how some bugs are created in games, otherwise u wouldn't need beta testers for games

Of course it does. Have you ever tried different builds while using the same weapon?

It doesn't, at least not directly. You will be able to attack faster with higher agi/ath, but only by using the increased acceleration/movement speed to have faster footwork. So while it does feel like it increases the weapon speed, it doesn't, though it does let you "spam" faster via footwork.

On a slightly different note though, strength also lets you hit earlier in the attack animation without glancing. So essentially both agility and strength let you attack "faster".
