Solution to prevent some accidental tk's

The topic title isnt covering the contents of this post that well, but I didn't know how to describe it in one line.

You and your teammates are ganking a good defensive shielder, his huscarl won't freakin break! You sit back a little, scared of teamhits, and aim a well timed stab just as he opens up to attack. But just before you hit the enemy with your very well timed stab, your teammate kills him, which causes your oh so perfectly timed stab, to kill your teammate standing behind the body thats suddenly made out of thin air. Your frantic attempts at pressing the RMB come just a little too late.

I find these situations rather annoying, sometimes you really cant help this from happening.

That's why I think that your body should be able to get hit up until a tiny amount of time after its death. Preferably still with the woosh sounds. Just like half a sec or so, so the other players have time to cancel their attack. This is also realistic, cause when a body dies its still an object. I wouldn't mind if the hitbox just says as the character died, cause I assume it's impossible to let it follow the ragdolls of the character dying, it would just be for a very short period of time anyway.
This way all the players that started good attacks while the player was still alive, hit the body instead of magically hitting their teammate through the body.

Discuss, tell my why it is impossible to do this, and if you can't, please implement it.

The warband devs tried to do this early on.

Ah, here we go;

Version 1.131 Changelog:
-Shield blocking is updated: Fixed bug where shields didn't protect against missiles shot from above.
-AI path finding is updated, and lots of weird behaviors are fixed.
-AI troops that seldomly spawn with shields bug is fixed.
-Retreat simulation in battles now damages the enemy even if player is knocked down.
-Models and lengths are updated for some of the weapons.
-Characters who have been killed now soak up attacks for a short while.
-Incorrect coloring of heraldic mails is fixed.
-Fixed a bug where throwing weapons couldn't be used as melee weapons on horseback.
-Some of the multiplayer maps' glitches are fixed.
-Mount&Blade Warband directory is added under My Documents folder. Some of the editable files are moved to there for ease of access.
-Rendering performance is increased slightly.
-Removed memory leaks from dedicated servers.
-Many other bug-fixes.

But for whatever reason it didn't work.
Maybe you are not bad, but you are a boring person. Well, that's the end of the matter.

They can enable us to build freaking castles on the go, but they can't do this. Interesting.

Programming is a strange thing, don't you agree?
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.
