Yep, it gets even more ridiculus in strat, having 4 stack of 62 gold axes for 8 ammo.

To fix that they would need to add an ammo pack, like the first slot is the throwing weapon you'll use and you fill the other 3 slot with "Ammo Bag" that add's up and cost less. To mimic arrows and bolts.

I have the same opinion as Phew, Malaclypse, Turboflex

The problem is the ammo as a dedicated thrower. Nerfing the ammo by 33% is 33% less dmg you make per round unless you scavenge shit. If you went heavy 9-10 PT to get the most dmg of your ammo you can't usualy run from folks much. I mean them archers and Xbowers can get 30-45 arrows and 24-30 bolts + a 0 slot melee weapon.

Maybe if you would get more ammo like if you fill all your slot with throwing weapon, you get an extra 25%, that way if you go full HTA you would get 10 Hv Axes, or 5 lance.  Or if there would be something like an Ammo Pack, 3 Slot that gives you +400% ammo (that way we could enjoy those 0 slot weapon). Otherwise the only way to be successful as a thrower is to go Jarid, or Hybrid with some PS.

I'll still enjoy myself as a thrower whatever happens, and I would enjoy it even more if they bring back the thrown axes sticking on bodies they hit.

well tydeus we disagree about HTA, but to answer your question about the relation between all the axes, I can tell you that presently the francisca is overall best but only when you consider that due to its very low weight it hardly slows your run speed at all.
throwing axes don't do enough damage more than franciscas to be worth the lesser ammo and higher weight.
heavy throwing axes have good damage now compared to the spears line, but having only two ammo per stack is a total killer, spoils it.

Yep i Agree with Artie. I might be mistaking but it seems they lowered the weight of the HTA to 2.7, same as Fransisca.

Yep, they made it so that now Dedicated Hv Axe thrower are only able to kill 2 people with their ammo instead of 3.

Kinda gimp compared to a full 1h/shield going focusfrenzy killing 10 dude.

At a time where Arbalester with 0 slot short sword are everywhere killing you from the other side of the map, this changes isn't welcome.

I understand this changes will make the Hv axe less standard and raise the usage of the other axes, but at least make them Hv axes 4 Ammo 2 slots, so in the end we can use a 0 slot too.

5
Or keep the jumpthrow, but make it super mega inaccurate and lower the dmg done while throwing mid air.

Good thing to even it up would be to add 2 slot throwing stuff. Like, i dont know, the throwing spears could be 8 ammo 2 slots. So in the end you can pull out a 0 slot short sword like all the other ranged class do now.

In my opinion the biggest fun factor nerf throwing class got it when they removed axes sticking on the player they it. After playing like 7 gen i was still entertained when i threw an axe in the face of a dude, he kept running at me and killed me with the axe stuck between his eyes.

Distance = throwing speed of the weapon
You get more distance with heirloomed throwing weapon since they get like 19 speed instead of 17.

This post is about how throwing accuracy (the size of the reticle) is calculated now. 6 or more months ago, throwing axe with 4 PT and like 60-80 wpf was a nightmare. The axe would go 2 meter on the left, and the next axe 3 meters on the right.

Now they always seems to go straight where you aim, no matter how much PT or WPF you have, but i may have noticed that the hitbox of the character seems smaller.

Would be great if, on patch, we would get a message like "Throwing accurary is now calculated by your weiner size" in order to plan our build right.

You see that super hero dude who blocks all and is on a 13-0 killing streak, you pretty much cancel his shit when you unload 12 axe on him and his shield. I always have the "Block this" comment in my head with it happens.

And you cancel them charging at ya rouncey with 1 axe.

Right now i'm 27/12 9 PT 9 PS Build, 2 Months ago the accuracy was sucking, now it's has accurate as it can be.

Pretty far, shot em with maybe a 30 degree angle on a flat ground and checked where they landed on the ground.

They always landed in an area that would be around 3 time as large as a player.

I'll do the excercise again this week-end and i'll get screenshots.

Anyone tested Throwing accurary lately?

I know a while ago throwing accurary depended on the amount of PT you had over the PT Requierement of the weapon you threw. While needed 13 WPF per Power throw or else they were "canceled".

I know a few months ago this was switched so that only WPF impacted accuracy. Pumping 170+ wpf made them MW War Dart super ninja accurate with 2 PT.

Now i'm trying to gauge that shit, maybe i'm a moron but i can't see the accuracy difference between a 170 wpf 2pt build or a 115 wpf 10 pt build.

Did some more test, throwing all my war darts at 1 target without moving and checking where they lands, seems no matter how much WPF or PT i put, i get the same damn accuracy. The target reticle may change a little bit, but it doesn't seem to matter.

My war darts landed at the same distance with each of the following build, wearing no armor :

2 PT , 30 WPF
10 PT, 130 WPF
2 PT, 190 WPF

Something is broken at the moment, as it seem it's only taking the weapon's stat into consideration.

BTW guys it's not like we stood there for the whole battle with arrows in our eyes.

We stayed in that formation for 10-20 sec, it wasn't the best idea as we were getting plumbed. ( i'm the dude with the war darts and i took a couples arrows )

We're usualy leaded into those kind of shock troop duty stuff. I enjoy it, you may say it's not that super effective, but it's alot of fun.

Hello everyone,

I didnt play alot in the pass few months,

Could someone advise if something changes among the following :

13-14 WPF needed per power throw?

WPF reduction per 1 weight : 1 wpf per weight on chest/boots, 2 wpf per weight on hands, 3 wpf per weight on head?

I'm curious because i had the same sort of build for the pass few generation, and now i seem to be able to wear heavier hats on my full throwing build dude.

Thank you!
