You don't see people using the bec on horse the same way you don't see people using glaives or even warspears. You need the extra range ANY lance provides. 120 can't compete with 170, and its something mandatory on horseback.

EDIT: The Glaive is just too... weird, i got one.

u right, but i just said use it at horse back doesn't balance this polearm anymore.

The Bec de Corbin's price is 1.5x the Long Hafted Spiked Mace price. And agains armor of the same price they do the same amount of damage. This is fair.
But the LHSM Knockdown and the Bec de Corbin don't.

all stats of the BdC is unbalanced, don't look only on damage done. U can't said that the maul is imba because he do 36blunt, knockdown and crushtrhough ... lenght and speed was important stats to.

Maybe 94 is better in fact, while we can heirloom it for 96speed in gen3

in the same way we can up the price of the long hafted spiked mace at 5500, cause it is a great weapon at so cheap price

As u can see, no more Bec de Corbin was used in cRPG because it's become a crappy weapon, have a look on that stats vs Long Hafted Spiked Mace :

Throwing should be short ranged - high damage.

Consider this:
Increasing the wpf needed to be accurate with throwing weapons will force me to go from a 11PT/3 agility build to a 7 PT/15 agility build. With light armour (I have that now) and 5 athletics. Now I can suddenly get close to hit people and move out before I get surrounded. Something I can't do with 1 athletics.

For me it wouldn't change much, as it would require me just 1 additional hit to kill people with my throwing weapon of choice. I would just get a lot faster on my feet and my throwing animation would be a lot faster (higher wpf and agility).

in addition of : cheapper price, nerf damge, increase stack, and more wpf to use it as bow for exemple...

Why should you go cut when you can go blunt, knockdown and same speed range for a little extra gold?

By the shape hafted blade (Not the longer version) wouldn't be bad as a bonus to shields weapon since the only 2 axes polearm has available cheap are very slow... say something like this would be better imo:

Penalty with Shield
Bonus against shield

(Don't forget polearms get -22 range from grip so it won't be that long)


U just forgot that the hafted blade can be use on horse...



About the swiss Halberd get really better stat than glaive cause thrust damage is realy important when using a polearm.

Why chose the Bec de corbin ? 36pierce = 34 blunt, u just get more thrust damage but with 120 length ? useless...

Hi, first, thanks chadz for ur great MoD the best game i ever played !

I get an idea for bow and HA :
decrease agility needed for HA (3 for 1 instead of 6 for 1) then let cut damage for Horse bow and make pierce damage for foot archer (warbow and longbow)

we can have great HA but not imba (cause cut damage)
and footarcher still better :)
