I'm a really new player around level 17 and so obviously haven't been doing too good.

There I was hacking and slashing away in my best game yet. I was within the top 4 of the scoreboard and just as we were about to win the defence of the castle, BAM! Game crashed. Typical....

I only recently started playing this game. I have been playing the crap out of it because it's so awesome!

Anyway, any money I had got has gone on experimental builds and what not. Now I have decided what build I want I have literally zero money to spend and the gear I have is all wrong. I'm basically a peasant.

So, yeah, if you could spare some cash to a new player that would be awesome.

Beginner's Help and Guides / How to not get 1-shot constantly

Hi,

I started playing on the c_rpg servers recently after also very recently getting the game. So, obviously, I'm a beginner and I'm have problems surviving. At the minute I am specced for 2H combat and have high-end low gear with the military scythe.

My problem is that everyone seems to move faster, swing faster and be much faster to bring their guard up. When I run into battle I have no chance and I just get 1-2 hit by people running circles around me. I try to block, but often fail. Even if I do manage to block I can't counter fast enough because as soon as I let my guard down I get hit and killed. There have also been several occasions where I put defended the correct part of my body, but the enemy still hit and killed me, what's up with that?

So, yeah, any tips for me so that I don't get 1 shot every time I run into battle? It's extremely frustrating.
