ehhhh, I am lazy... I performed several of those steps previously and they didn't work (Repairs multiple times, reinstall crpg, change display settings, resolution changes). Finally said fuck it and settled to play it windowed which does work as it should. Thank you for the suggestions though

Hey, I would really love to play again,...mordhau just doesn't have that durability of playability that crpg has. Nor does it have my years of experience (by that I mean my hours of play translated to literal years of actual time (NO SHAME!!!)) Anyway, So when I started up my cRPG launcher the other day, first off, the launcher didn't have a wse2 beta to click on also when I ran the repair on a fresh launch, it did a very strange thing to me... It wouldn't update any of my visuals, so I would be looking at the same image constantly, until I minimized into windows using ctrl+alt+del to get into task manager. When I did that, get into windows with crpg minimized and then reopen the game, the visual would be uploaded. This was in effect throughout me trying to play....like all of my keyboard commands would have an effect in the game, but I wouldn't see any of them on my end until I minimized and reopened. I did recently put in a new video card and this is the first time I've opened crpg or even warband since then.... Anyone got any idea what the problem is and how I could fix it? I would really love to be able to help repopulate.

I think this is a dangerous move. There are dedicated archers that play this game. As often as I get headshot or filled with 8 arrows, I still feel as if we should show a lil respect to all the classes and not kick the dedicated archers and cav right in the balls just because a few melee don't wanna fight them. We already have flags that guarantee a closer distance or loss. If a melee player hasnt left by the time there is 20 or less people, they're not gonna leave just because theres a couple archers. The archers however will be guaranteed to leave when there is 20 or less players which is fairly early most nights.

Pros: Maybe getting more people to stay longer during 10-20 pop.
Cons: Guaranteeing archers and cav will leave when pop drops below 20.

This may be safer and I would feel more comfortable about it if the number decided upon was 10 pop rather than 20.

I appreciate the new nation "Ferocia" and the item work that must go along with forming such a nation. I intend to declare it as a nation at some point because of it's equipment but at the moment they're not an option within the faction page and they do not have any feifs within their nation. Will they be put within any feifs (you had mentioned swadian) during this test phase or after the official strat round begins? I'd like to know the wisdom of waiting for access to the Ferocia equipment or just immediately claiming a different nation.

Why you want to be on the council: So I can claim to be leader and do no work yet take all the credit for anything positive we achieve.
Example improvements you would suggest:
I'd say divide the armour into 5 or 6 tiers with each tier having the same stats (for strat only) so factions can choose their style without having less armour points.
Retreating should leave you with whatever men you have left plus the broken gear you would have got if you had just lost (or at least something!).
Fiefs should generate silver so owners don't have to trade, and afk owned fiefs will be worth taking.
Have fief production based on fief population.
And (probably the least popular) get rid of garrisons and fief population growth.  Make players have to convert troops into population to A) increase rents B) increase production C)defend.  Put population caps at 500 for villages, 1500 for castles and 3000 for cities (with no reinforcing (and no raids, obviously).  This would force more field battles as defenders would sally out to try prevent sieges, and afk factions just couldn't put 30,000 men in a castle and leave.

But I see a lot of other brilliant ideas in here, and would like to work with you guys to maybe put a little strategy into strategus.

This would be good idea- cut some roads through the woods and mountains so direct travel is easier.  This would lead to choke points that armies could watch for enemy caravans, plus ambushes could be set in the woods beside the roads.


As it is, we can select any village, castle, town across calradia and select it at a destination. However, it's programmed as a straight shot and you end up getting stopped in mountains or rivers on your journey unless you constantly maintain it. The goal is to increase involved population right? Well how many 100 man armies do you see stuck in these kinds of places? They just said fuck it and quit. Make it easier for new players to start and keep playing. Not to mention the incredible amount of drama that could occur in the inter-clan politics within strat. Hell, just the convenience would be a benefit for everyone. There's also a lot of potential opportunities that could come from such a thing.
