Title: Your best kill

I'm certain we had a thread dedicated to this topic but can't find it.

Anyway, after so many hours spent on this game, tonight I scored my best kill as an archer. Don't have a screenshot and can't really explain it with screenshot, would need a video for it so words will have to do the job.

Typical siege map, Distar Castle c (for those who don't know, it's that snow fortress). Was messing with some looting and sadly, forgot to take melee weapon. Enemy shielder was following me on that narrow passage (that leads to that wooden roof which is right next to the flag) and I've passed friendly xbow who I nudged as a sign of danger. That only made things worse because he died before he could react properly. Having no weapon, besides the bow I've tried to trick the shielder and avoid shield bash which worked but I didn't hit him. Since I have only 2 ATH and two quivers of arrows on me, couldn't get away from him. Desperate, I've tried to kick him to buy some time for escape and it worked. But funniest thing which makes this kill so special is that we were next to those stone stairs and he lost his balance, fell and died on the spot. Boom headshot! :lol:

What is your best kill so far?

My best kill was when I shot into a crowd of enemies that I didn't even see and head shot one. I felt so cool. :D

Any of the times I've been on my thrower alt and jumped off of something which would not be a survivable fall, but as I'm jumping, I spin around and whilst falling backwards, throw a jarid and headshot someone.  I've done this 5+ times, and each time its just the best thing ever.

spawn to spawn HS at the beginning of the round on Ruins, was on a high spawn, shot one in the village
HS with a stone on kinngrimm from the side while he was on the roof chasing archers

those 3 I remember to this day being really funny  :mrgreen:

Haha that reminds me of the moment that shocked the whole battle server the other night.

'Twas a tense moment at the end of a round a multi hangs in the balance for some. It's one man left on each side. There's an  xbower with no melee vs
a spearman (if memory serves, w/e cleveland was). The xbower misses his shot by inches and cleveland moves in for the kill. Out of desperation the xbower pollux throws a nudge and cleveland falls. His bar was black.  :o faces all round.

The first gen that rohypnol didn't do his my old friendgy HX build this happened:

I was the last one left on my team and I was a HX. There were three people left on the other team: rohypnol as strength/plated shielder, San, and a 2h kuyak hero. I started working them down by shooting the 2h kuyak hero by shooting him from a safe distance and eded up killing him. I then noticed it, I only had the loaded bolt left, no others. I decided that I would rather duel rohypnol than San so I had to bump shoot San in order to get him. I ended up bump killing him.

Then it happened, rohypnol was trying to hide behind some objects so that I couldn't bump him. I ended up jumping over the objects and knocking rohypnol over and headshot him.

All of those bundle of sticksish time that rohypnol would go my old friend mode as HX were paid up for and it felt great.

quite memorable was the first time I killed The_Fin head on in a duel situation.  still know the exact spot he came riding towards me, cause that was always a bit exciting. happened  near the upper village of vayejeg,  and he congratulated me afterward.

good times,  I miss that tank...

Throwing Jarids at Miley at an end of round 3v1. I tk'd both my teammates and misjudged how fast Miley could close the distance. Put up my shield as I got spammed, knowing if I switched weapons I would get hit and killed. Said F it, why not and switched jarid to melee and went for the stab. Hit Miley in the face for the kill. Best end of round crutch ever...especially after murdering my two other teammates.

That one walled village map with a tower on both sides of the village and a big two story tower in the middle... I don't remember its name, and I think it's out of the rotation now.

Anyway, it was the end of the round and down to 1v1 with me and one other guy. I climbed the tall center tower to try to spot him but couldn't see where he was. After a little while, the flags spawned and he finally emerged from an alley that he was lurking in. He stood on the flags nervously looking around and waiting for me to arrive... but he never thought to look UP. IRL I shouted "GERONIMO!" and leaped, bringing death from on high. My aim and timing were perfect and I hit him with an overhead attack just before landing, killing him (and myself half a second later).

I don't know if it was actually my best kill but it was definitely one of my coolest and most memorable.

I kicked a teammate into the side of a siege tower and it just killed him (like if siege tower run him over). It was considered a suicide though.

Also I have just reminded myself that once on some weird map I jumped behind some barrels. I got stuck (could predict that :rolleyes:). I asked my friend on TS to come and help me. He came to me and got stuck as well. I couldn't kick from that place but I could nudge, so I nudged my friend and he instantly (lightning speed, seriously) hit the ground from like 0,5m and lost all health and died. I was laughing hard at that one.

Shooting an xbow at a shielder. The shield breaks, but the bolt also penetrated the shield and killed the player too.

Blind-firing an arrow from spawn at the first seconds of the round and headshotting someone in enemy spawn.

I remember that, if I recall I don't think I knew that was you. I was so slow back then, I was bump feast =D So many hopeless standoffs against HX back then.


Mine is still the 24 v 2, tag teamed with Miley on that map with the tunnels inside of the hill. In the larger open room with the stairs, side tunnel, and main entrance, we were surrounded by at least 5-8 people in the room at all times. Somehow, foes just started to fall one by one as we weaved, blocked incoming attacks we couldn't dodge, and furiously attacked back. After the initial onslaught, we miraculously survived. The people that were left began to trickle in from the main entrance, making dispatching each one much easier. At the time, I was shocked at the extreme favor and sheer luck of it all.

The fact that it was a successful tag team makes it more memorable than extreme odds by myself.

My deaths tend to be more memorable than my kills. I got shieldbashed into a balista projectile once. Also, numerous death by punches, kicks, nudges and stones.

I remember a very long time ago I caught someone mid-fall with a pike. I also killed a charging lancer with a sickle chamberblock once (almost full STR gimmick sickle alt), back when the sickle couldn't block.

I remember how I solely was followed by a group of heavy 2 handers who were waiting to kill me quickly so I could just parry and flee to a nearby ruin which would make it more feasable to survive. Fencing off the first guy I was able to retreat upstairs noticing how another group gathered at the ground waiting for me there, as I could not hold I had to jump down and was crushing into that group against their expectation leaving them stunned and making my way out again. I thought I was already dead.The group seemed to have been shrunken, the fight went on and I was still able to fight back for a short time but died ultimately. I then later realized that I actually only killed 1 guy :D

Not really that special but the first thing that comes to mind would be when I had just started the game and was absolutely terrible and could hardly get a kill, I somehow managed to kill the last person on the other team by jumping off of a bridge and killing him with an overhead the split second before the fall killed me.

Crossbow, running away from an enemy, he was as fast as  I was so I tried to kick (worked) and in the time of the kick, his shield was not covering his body, I turmed around and gave him a headshot!!:)

Intentionally walking of a tower with my high agi xbow shotgunner to release my bolt right before landing. Aiming for the guy that was running under the tower and hitting him in the face. Actually most kills with trollbuilds are fucking awesome. It gives me a kick.

I was in attack side, Kulin Ban in defense, both with great mauls. There was a fight around big gate to take control of it.
I did an overhead but miss, he was too far. Then Kulin started his own overhead and I thought "I'm dead". Becasue I had no chance to do something reasonable, I switched to the spam mode and instantly after first missed overhead I did another one, got lucky chamber and killed Kulin with overhead. He was probably so confused that he didn't even try to block.

Won a 1v7 situation with a long awlpike, they attacked from all directions, one was a thrower behind me, another one of the 7 was Oberyn on foot. But that was in Ye Ole Times.

When I nudged Lance to his death from that massive bridge battle map as he tried to jump over to kill me.  He mustve held an attack cos he went about 5m back.  On the way down he called me a bitch and wished my whole family cancer  :shock:, to which I replied "it's just a game, chill"  8-).  Also nudged about 3 more people off on that same round, but Konstantin just voice commanded "[T]hank you!" on the way down  :lol:

Many freaking funny kills over the years, incl. unexpected melee kills like a sickle kill on a well known melee hero recently :)

But one of the best is from my early days in c-rpg and still makes me chuckle.

Siege map, rather big castle. I am on attack, shoot at some dude on the wall. Miss. Well, happens.

A loooong time later I get a headshot notice:
arrow travelled across the castle and headshotted some unsuspecting dude on the other side... ;-)

once I destroyed  ramp of siege tower with half of enemies team charging wall(guess what happened)
then I left disabled tower without ramp and weels so atakers had to destroy it to be able bulid next one

It was a 1v1 situation at the end of the round, it was that waterfall cliff map, i had a lag spike there and felt down the cliff, , on the enemy archer, i had a glaive, i killed him then died and won the round.

Best kill was early 2011 with a thrower char and had a Throwing Dagger and threw it over the stairs over the building and managed to hit a guy in the face and one hit kill him (though he was grouped up with tons of other enemies at the same time so wasn't a complete random kill but pretty weird and awesome.

That desert level with the pool, Yea I managed to climb up to the top of the palace next to that. the last 2 players alive besides me were battling it out below me. I jumped from the palace, did a 1080 spin mid-air and shot an arrow right into my teammates head for a teamkill. I died from the fall we lost. :D

I don't have a best kill because, because all my kills are glorious. Everytime I remove my blood soaked blade from an enemies skull I give it a sweet lick and a kiss; 'Matilda', i've named my blade.

My best death, however:

The desert bridge map, the one with the wide bridge that ascends on both sides but there is a gap in the middle, and one team needs to make the first move and jump over the gap. In this instance, four players from each team decide to jump over at the exact same time. We fall down the gap. We all laugh and die.

1. Headshotted a guy through his shield just a second before he'd have taken our flag from far away on the outer castle walls. This got me some fans following me on the next rounds :)

2. Do you know the scene where Mel Gibson eliminated a bunch of british soldiers in 'The Patriot'? I had the chance to do the same on my own against 7 coworking guys on battle. It was amazing to use some sniper tactics to fool them like changing your shooting place, whistle on the roofs and lure them in the wrong direction.

I forget who, but someone in FCC killed an enemy in a strat battle the same way. He was like level 2 I think (retired before battle) and was doing engineering stuff all fight. Near the end he killed an enemy with a construction material thrown down from the front of the siege tower he built.

Also when I made new character I somehow managed to kill a cavalry player with a heavylance on donkback

Old times with milanese and flamberge killed many guys with my friend on bridge till last of the archers decided it was best to just jump down  :lol: Also wrecked meleehero recently early in battle with stone in melee mod. And ofcourse killing last man alive by killing his teammate on horse and his horse bumped his teammate to death. There are many more awesome ones but these are just the ones I can think this moment

To bring this thread back, I remember the time that I was in battle on the map in the snow and there's a ship stuck in the frozen waters with a cabin on one side of the map.

After shooting people till the last guy was alive. I was on the ship and the camp to the right of the front of the ship I saw the guy in the woods running up the hill, the last guy was swiftly running to the flag. I had 3 arrows and started shooting. *miss* *miss* I got to my last arrow and drew the arrow slowly and aimed to his direction and released the arrow. The arrow went whizzing in the air and my arrow hit him in the back of the head in front of multiple teammates perusing the agility whore. The chat boomed and people came into my channel complimenting me. I then ate ice cream.

Killed captain_george with throwing lance nearly spawn to spawn  while he was riding horse  in old old times when throwing skill didnt need wpf.

It was the end of the round. My stolen horse had been shot out from under me. I have two teammates left, and all they have is Rohypnol, back when he was a 1h. Of course he kills my teammates and starts approaching me. I raise my melee weapon in the international signal of "let's have a duel". He reciprocates, begins circling me. I pull out a jarid walk right up , pump fake,  and, wait for it, boom headshot. I was a hero that day.

Over a year ago on siege, this castle in a desert, idk name, on my Str archer Boba. I spawned on defending wall, and shot my arrow at the spread out crowd of tiny people that spawned a mile away. As you know Str archers are not very accurate, and I headshot Artie the Strongest Man in the World. And then everyone was like gasping on server chat.
