full body calisthenicsWhat does this mean?
I used to drink protein shakes regularly some years ago, but back then I was at the gym at least 4-5 times a weak, and was almost 10 kg more than now, with at least 8 kg of that being muscles.Dude i did it for a month and gained 2 or 2.5 kilos was crazy, went so fast. You really blow up with that stuff, didnt really like it and quit it after, too fast and its different somehow then school started and i havent been there since no time study and chilling goes before ha
At the moment I am at the gym 3 times a week, sometimes 4. I gave up on drinking protein shakes, I just take 4 full meals per day, and always eat quite alot when I come home from the gym.
Drinking protein shakes surely can be a good idea if your normal protein income is low, but I drink around 1 L of milk per day, eat alot of cheese, sausages and meat. I think thats more than enough protein, especially when you "only" go to the gym 3-4 times a week.
When you are working out almost every day I think a bit of supplementarys is a must though, cause you can't eat chicken and other low-fat aliments several times a day and every day. In this case it's actually cheaper to just supplement instead of buying and eating protein containing things like a machine.

EXERCISE!
I'm doing Jim Wendler's 5/3/1. Day before yesterday was glorious deadlift day, and it looked like...
Deadlift: 5/3/1 sets 255lbs on the last set.
More Deadlift: 5x10 at 155
Plank: 2x2:00mins
Today's Bench Day. Will be great.
I also started running again. A long day and a short day each week after deadlift or squat workouts. I hate cardio, but I'm getting fat so its gotta happen.
Jesus. A 5 minute plank sounds horrible. I find that planks are more about intestinal fortitude than conditioning, after a certain point.
I love 5/3/1. Its a great program for slow and steady strength gains, imo. It's definitely slow. A whopping +5 lbs on your bench or OHP every MONTH. Ugh. I miss the steady progression of my early days of bro-splits and Starting Strength :D
I also like the flexibility and simplicity of it. What're u doing now, Taser?
My bench sucks too
And I can't do dips without my shoulder hurting, which sucks cause I like them. Oh well
What does this mean?I just meant I don't do splits like usual lifters (starting strenght etc..), Basically this is my routine:
cross fit
do all cross fit stuff there
