Funny thing is 13th century bows and xbows are more accurate than future blaster-rifles as it seems :mrgreen:.

Makes sense why the Stormtroopers couldn't hit the side of a Barn in the movies.

They look so robotic.

Probably a taste thing. The fact that they are quite different and frankly misleading when one is used to the original set doesn't help.

I played like 1 and a half hour yesterday. It was pretty cool. All the powers make you feel like you are fighting hackers with hacks. It felt exactly like that. The animations, they are very misleading. The lightsabres and knifes animations I eventually figured out. But the polearms. Oh god...if you faint with that at anybody they are best off just suiciding. Cause following that, my brain for one could not figure out. But all the sith/jedi powers can easly cope with that.

Damn, I like this mod!

Animations are a bit effed yeah, but I got used to them in about 30 minutes.
Dueling is so hectic lol, I love it. It's the force powers that make it interesting, and the uber damage so duels aren't long and boring, but rather fast paced - which is what I love about it. Feinting is mad with those animations and when you start using jump with an attack and go spinning through the air and then landing while slicing your enemy, all this shit goes right down to crazytown :lol: :lol:

Been a while since I enjoyed dueling this much 8-)

I'm sure people will come up with some seriously mad moves that'll raise the skill ceiling.

Am I actually the only one who likes these animations?

I believe they're far elegant than Warband's default wild and mindless swings and therefore fit the jedis ideally.
Warband's default animations fit the whole group fighting mentality, but for people who are supposed to be masters of the lightsaber Papa's animation are superior.

Eh this mod's alright but I don't think Warband is capable of making the features look... decent? lol. Just feels like an awkward mess of people flying around. Still, fun, but because of the latter I mentioned I think it'll be pretty dead in a couple of weeks :(.

I haven't got so much fun playing this mod for quite some time

I love how Jedis/Jet Troopers/Clones are rather balanced between each other, of cource there are flaws, that's why it's 0.3.
Jedis are much harder than other troops, but if mastered, they become the greatest force in game.

Jedi was extremely powerful. I dont get why nobody used the force travel as much as I did. When I figured it out I practically teleported infront of  poor mofos and stabbed them in the gut. Force travel is so fun. The jetpack heroes usually went for high grown where they thought they were unreachable, than I practically zapped myself behind them and took em downtown.

Also you can block that Badass force lighting while having force counter in the inventory and holding block(Tried it, for some reason didnt work for shit =( ) . Force defence helps you block shots for less force.

Played deathmatch yesterday till I got 400 frags, loving this mod, so fun :D Combat is just awesome, seriously.
Getting really used to timing my attack and force jump to land and instantly slice people. Tried ranged a bit as well, was fucking lol (also OP) stunlocking people with consecutive blaster shots. Force lightning is eez mode, didn't play much with Force Travel because Force Jump is just too much fun when you get used to it.

I am surprised how well made this mod is.
Animations may be different, but they just... fit. Fits the sci-fi style.
They did a good job with balancing the ranged/melee aspect. Regenerating shield which can be used on every melee style. I like it.

Also, love the people RPing  :lol:

My clan and I took a little diversion to check this out.

Not a big Star Wars fan, but I'd recommend this as a fun mod. No idea how to block though(unfamiliar animations) and some people seem to be able to deflect blaster bolts, which I can't seem to get the hang of.

I dont really get it. Technically how its supposed to work is that: "Force Defence" means that you deflect lasers and spend less force on blocking laser and "Force counter" that when you block you block the sith zappythingy. But it doesnt do any of it. From what I gathered from the forums, in my mind atleast, it ment that these things are not properly finished. That they work, but random and rarely......Dunno if its true thou. Some say they saw it work, for most it doesnt work. Seems controversal.

We have done some Byzantium sessions on this, trying to fuck up some NW regiments doing blaster squads with our superior lightsaber might. Those fucking pistols though.

Mod is very fun to play and I could actually see clan battles working on this. It's quite balanced and classes have different roles. Sadly it will probably die in about two weeks.

Ah great times in this mod, love how jedi's arent OP at all, and can easily be countered by blasters. But can also be very lethal if played well. How it should be IMO, because if jedi was ez mode class everyone would play it. Now there is atleast some fun in using blasters.

I've had quite a few of my blaster shots go right through people, at least that's what it looked like, but it just might be me not being used to the speed of the projectile. Not sure.

Yeah, the projectiles are misleading, i have yet to figure out the bullet speed (24/7 bountyhunter), but as long as you align the white stripes on the y-axis with the enemy, keep aiming at him and then eventually he's going to die. That's how i see it.

Jetpack bombingflights are simply too epic for words. Especially in battle where they cant afford to die.
