Wasn't the secondary recently buffed anyways? Didn't that basically make Long Hafted Spiked Mace shit because you could use a longer, almost as hard hitting, balanced weapon instead of it?

Yeah the poleaxes made LHSM pointless, especially since the old Mighty Elegant Poleaxe was faster, had 35blunt, was only one unit shorter, had a better thrust, and wasn't unbalanced. Just show some of the awkward feeling mid tier pole arms some love already!
TLDR:Name me 1 1h weapon that is 0 slot and long enough to use from a horse?And even with your reasoning then it shouldnt be a problem giving out free respec or giving looms back that where spent on items that just ruined builds.I mean damn my 15/18 build really was that big of a threat?I build that way because I cant stand to be all ranged for a whole gen or all melee so I chose a gimped hybrid build that can do some of both and this just screwed the build I have used for 20 gens.

Repairs have always been that way. Also it would be a huge waste of time just to level an alt for money. If you really want money just level your main and retire, then sell your loompoint.
Also repairs start regardless of level once you reach 10k.
Can we get a no-penalty respec? High lvl 2h/xbow or pole/xbow people are screwed right now...

GG my level 33 build is also now useless with the 2 slot crossbow. Not only did it nerf the 2h heroes but the few of us xbow shielders out there. To be effective I will now need to invest in a 0 slot cut weapon which will severely limit my ability to hurt the plate/str crutchers like my build was designed against. Doing this also forces most crossbow users to go the arb route because now it makes no sense NOT to take the arb. I think this decision will impact the weapon diversity more than any change in the patch so far.

I believe the last respec sold for over 3 million gold. People with lives generally don't have that much.
And with the xbow changes, some builds have simply ceased to be relevant at all. If I had the choice, I would simply respec my xbowman to use 1h since that seems to be the direction the mod is forcing people to go with it. It's actually really sad, in my opinion, that most major changes in the mod seem to limit build diversity further than whatever it was before, pushing ever closer to native, where you simply select a class.

You can roll as a hoplite with a 2slot shield , a spear and spathion. Or as an archer with 2 quivers, or even a lancer with spathion as a side weapon. Hence the increased price for 0 slot. Board Shield must be 2 slot, as it is 8 weight. Forget any board shield but the Heavy Board Shield though, the Old/Plain Board Shields got 1/4 Body Armor and not enough Health to do anything with them. :)Board shield is 1 slot despite being 8 weight.
Good additions though, I like the faceplate helmets and the new Hand Pavise Shield.

I think they inadvertently buffed horse crossbows in this patch. 2h/pole users can't carry a crossbow sidearm anymore, so there will be even fewer threats to HX.

I'm still waiting for people to see how great the 1h axe change is. It's become a jack of all trades for up-close melee fighting. 28 pierce on the iron war axe / 27 pierce on the broad 1h axe is ridiculously good for item compression. Axe, shield, polearm with a broad short sword can cover any situation. Great.I agree that it will more of a jack-of-all trades. Kinda like the Poleaxes.

I already saw him using the BOHBA. It's quite good with the increased pierce damage now. High cut for low-armored targets, pierce for the cans.Devs should increase the BOHBA difficulty to 13 :P
