Donnie Darko first one not 2nd one.
Benx. (Only found in german with english subtitles or italian but never seemed to find the italian version.)
Again don't know if popular or not but I enjoyed this movie.
Any Liam Neeson movie is awesome.Quite so. The thing about The Grey is: Authenticity! It's not filmed in some warm studio in LA. The actors are really out there and don't need to act they are cold because the weather is real and they are freezing .
here's a bunch,
if you wanna get better experience dont watch the trailers, just look at the name
In what may be an unprecedented move, the producer of this film, Eric D. Wilkinson, has publicly thanked users of BitTorrent who have distributed the movie without express permission, saying that it has lifted the profile of this product far beyond the financier's expectations, while encouraging fans to purchase the DVD or donate.
Not widely reviewed, Rampage received mixed response, and was noted by Bloody Disgusting for director Uwe Boll's "evolution" in style, "almost as if the German Ed Wood has taken a deep look into the mirror, reflected on his films, and made a turn for the better". In contrast Variety called it "uncompromising and nearly unwatchable (as much for its subject as for its nauseating visual style)".
The film opened at #6 on its opening weekend, behind Star Trek, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Obsessed, and 17 Again with approximately $4 million in revenue. Next Day Air steadily declined in the box office during its eight week run. The film grossed $10,027,047 ranking it 111 in films released in 2009.
My friend was starring in this movie, he's a lot older now but in the trailer, it's the kid that flicks his finger on the blonde kid's nose. It's a nice movie. Haven't they done also Hollywood version of it? Probably not as good as the original.
Haven't seen it yet, though. Supposedly, it was an international success - but not a national. In other words, that's a Swedish movie.

These come to mind immediately; some are critically acclaimed, but most were not successful movies. Primer is an especially interesting independent science fiction film oozing with vision.

Spanish movie, Antonio Banderas' best role (he actually acts), very disturbing plot.
''My Way''
Good Korean-made WW2 movie that's not among the well known WW2 movies.
Heh, well seeing that it is spoken and sub-titled in other than any Western language, it wouldn't be well known by EU/NA fans :osubs are easy to find on the webiweb :P

the scare factor is minimized by bad acting, still watching.
Lizard man, if you like some unknown asian action, the films by Hiroyuki Tanaka (Aka Sabu) from the 90`s are awesome.. (if you can find them. Rare shit this is)
I saw them all around 10 years ago, but they are probably still awesome..

most beautiful story ever, awesome filming and godlike music. The grey took it's end theme from this movie. All the music from INK was made by the guy that also wrote the script and directed the movie.visitors can't see pics , please register or login

We're all nerds here so I don't feel ashamed recommending movies by Studio Ghibli! If any of you have even a remote interest in anime then these are some pretty good movies to watch. Personally I have very little interest in anime and these are probably the only anime movies I have ever watched but I still love them. There's a whole catalog of movies by this studio, and you can find them all on Wikipedia. Out of all of them I would have to first recommend Howl's Moving Castle or Spirited Away.
These movies may not have the absolute best clarity and logical plot but they have some of the best atmosphere I've ever seen in an animated production, truly able to make you feel included. Every shot is like a Kubrick film with a ridiculous amount of stuff going on, I can only imagine how many Asian sweatshop slaves they use. Anyway heres a trailer for Howl's Moving Castle.
I actually find Princess Mononoke to be the best of them. I haven't seen them all yet, though, just that one, Howl's Moving Castle, Grave of the Fireflies, Spirited Away and Kiki's Delivery Service.

This movie is soooo boring. Looks like TV shit.
The third one is out now? I watched the first two but I have to say I prefer the ~26 episode OVA for the more in-depth narrative, character progression and CGI animation always ends up making things look extremely doll-like.yeah i can only agree
If your're into foreign films...
Even internationals are Americans if they speak American. So if I speak American, then a Finnish film is a foreign film for me? This is what confuses me.
