Templols ninjas druzhina mercsDruzhina was originally a native clan.
What about GK?
First there was Staffmen. (recently been revived, but more of a playstyle than a clan.)
Then there were Ninjas, based on the basic principle of Staffmen, just more elaborated. (been active more or less the whole time)
Then Guards and I think Knights of the Roses about the same time. *Rosewoods clan.
Templars also came about this time.
Mercs came later when Gnjus, Olwen and Oberyn decided to start a clan together.
Still lots of oldmy old friends playing this game actively.. proof that it is extremely addictive.
Though not a member of the guards at that time, I remember them from before the first iteration of strat.Yes, formed BEFORE the actual thing but after the first announcement about it.
Lol we've been around since Feb 2010. Certainly not one of the oldest.

In general WB history (which cRPG invariably is a part of) the first warbands (created in beta, some even before) were IRC, 22nd, Einherjar, CoR and DR (all of which are still alive and thriving). So these were the first clans in cRPG, especially IRC, 22nd and Einherjar members were active in the earliest versions, but not the first clans made specifically for this module.
Druzhina was originally a native clan.In cRPG since 1st Sep 2010, at that time with clan-tag of "DRZ_". As far as I remember, at that time Templars were well established. There also were Shogunate, Guards, 22nd, and others.
Inb4 Khorin saying that Ninja is the oldest living clan with proof.Totally, although Thomek said most of it already.
If I remember correctly, the first fraction were created on strategus by templars, then shogunate ... they had ID 1 and ID 2, respectively, in the list of factions :P DRZ as faction appeared much later
In DRZ native since 04 april 2010, oh shit
In DRZ cRPG since 26 may 2010
Wasn't Fallen's original leader in the Templars? His name was Beauchamp, I remember him well. Always a coward, and always in plate (when people could afford it). He quickly turned to archery when plate wasn't OP anymore.

I've been in Guards since around late August 2010, so I'd guess it was founded in July or somewhere around that. Gotta ask Bane about it, if he'd still be here. But Templols and Ninjas were kinda the first cRPG clans.

Oldest clan I remember that still has active members is the ninja clan.

Then there were Ninjas, based on the basic principle of Staffmen, just more elaborated. (been active more or less the whole time)to be fair I don't remember ninja's originally being a proper clan, more like staffman - an open group but with code/rankings. ninja's turned into a clan when strategus was announced, this is when clans really started forming within crpg community. I believe guards was formed with the intention of guarding caravans in strat right? and mercs formed with the intention of winning strat... To me the first group that really seemed like a clan was rosewood's chaps; knights of the roses. at least thats how I remember it heh
haha and isnt that cmp at the front the big spamitar noob.
I counted 4 huskarl shields and elite scimitars.
Better to be remembered as ingame coward than irl retard...You were/are both =).
So many guys still playing :D(click to show/hide)
In cRPG since 1st Sep 2010, at that time with clan-tag of "DRZ_".Oh, I mean on strat. I started playing cRPG only after the native DRZshniki were called for strat. I don't know when DRZ was first time in cRPG.
Ninjas, Guards, Templars, Mercs... What I know is Fallens are like 1-2 months younger than Templars.
22nd and all the other native clans weren't active in early stages of cRPG "as clans".
I was the 4th/5th member in the Caravan Guild (Guards) to which *checks signature* I joined; 03/08/2010. I am certainly the oldest active member still around but I know that Bane created the Guards about two or three weeks prior.
So, from my memory it goes along the lines of;
1) Staffmaster
2) Ninja
3) Templars
4) Mercs
5) Caravan Guild (Guards)
6) Roses (Inactive)
