Title: How many players does cRPG have?
Post by: dodnet on May 31, 2012, 11:29:18 pm: I just took the member count on the Ladderpage and calculated the sum of it: 1760 ppl :shock:
As only a part will have signed up there already, there should be at least 3000 ppl playing this mod. Quite a number, didn't think its that much people.

Are there any more accurate numbers?

You should not count the 100 CD keys which was one grey dude's.

Problem with the ladderpage is also that some clans also put alt characters into their ladder. Maybe take 20% of that into account.

Also of note, I am drunk, so maybe not thinking straight right now.

Im guessing the number droped (dayz, diablo 3 etc.) so it should be around 2000 players joining the servers daily

Only 9000? Heck I have 9. That would make for around 1000 players give or take people having a few more and a few less.

About the ladder system, I believe it applies for all characters not only mains, so numbers are inaccurate, just look at Fallen Brigade.
