I myself am running an 8 core AMD (AMD FX-8120 Zambezi) with two 6970's in crossfire and 12 GB of ram, and there is still times where certain maps makes me hit the 40-50 FPS range, even lower and I can only imagine how that feels to others judging by the screenshots i see on the forums looking like playstation 1 games-1!!! Get better pc you hobo!
I really think the map makes or whoever is in charge of map rotation should be aware of what makes maps lag, and maybe fucking stress test it so im not trying to fight my way through shitty FPS wondering when the map will be over

Not quite sure why you'd think that this thread should be in the suggestion forum when we have a perfectly good subforum that's specifically for Scene Editing.
Anyway, I've been on Full EU1 for a couple of these 'lagging' maps and most people, if any have no problems with them (well, besides general whining about it being an archer/inf/cav map that is). But, feel free to provide me a list with them over http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,23740.0.html.
I don't like that we have QMD and QMU in game, but they aren't used for anything.

No. I just want to get those new maps removed. The old map circle was good.
The very best circly would be ruins, field by the river, ruined fort, and a few desert maps (not many trees yay). Would be much cooler than what we have now.
