What map is that? I don't recall a map where the virgin stands behind an easily defensible fence.

There are a couple. First time I ever played dtv was on that map. You can also jump onto the roof of the house on the bottom left side (second screen) from the hill and a lot of them get glitched there. Not sure exactly what the map is though.

The map does not need fixxing the bots dont get stuck I suggest playing the map before you edit it

It's not about getting stuck, it's about them going through that minuscule passage in the fence. DTV is meant to be played in the middle of the village, else every team with 3 shielders will win it easily.

In all fairness, there are a lot of maps that have bridges that you can form a shield wall (done it many times) and the bots get funneled through them (about 3-4 people wide). Unfortunately once Vitez come along you're screwed cause they hack through even you're best shields instantly. So it probably wasn't just the shielders that won it. It's also pretty much impossible to win DTV without glitching the bots/shield walling. Plenty of the maps have places where you can glitch them.

The house where those archers are on the roof, the bots get stuck there. You can see the archers shooting some of them at the base of the house in one of the screens. I know it because I've used it many times with my HA on foot on that roof.

Not really, no. When DTV was tower camp it was fairly easy to pass the Vitez wave with a couple of shielders, and they had much better stats than now.

Haha seriosuly? We tried it several times with huscarls on a bridge. They hacked through those before the 2h/poles behind even killed half of them. Anything less than that gets torn apart instantly.
The only times I've seen people come close to winning is by glitching them all on a rock/roof/fence and slashing them through it. Otherwise there's simply no hope. Especially as very few well equipped people want to play it with the upkeep sapping finances.

I'm trying to bring all the villages on the same level so the mode can be balanced accordingly. It's impossible to balance it if some villages are open fields and some are camp spots...

Well... The ability to set up a shield wall and use tactics with your team makes DTV pretty fun. It would be pretty annoying to play if it was just running around in a field getting couched/mobbed.

Then make some of the later bots easier? There doesn't seem to be any difference in strength of bots ect between the different levels either. Merely the equipment they use. Which is a bit silly. Peasants should be weak like native campaign peasants, whilst the later ones should be a lot stronger. Or lower the upkeep costs for DTV so people with good equipment/higher levels actually want to play. I've stopped playing now that my 2h is level 26 and money sink upkeep kicked in with DTV.

Yes, gain formula and some troop stats are going to change.
However it's not true that they have the same stats, there is a fairly big difference between the early and even the mid waves.

Really? It's not very noticeable. Peasants and bandits can 2 hit you with a maul (that's whilst I'm in Druzhina Lamellar) just as quickly as the sea raiders can 2 hit you with a great axe, or vitez with the bardiche. The 1h obviously take longer to kill you, but then you just get spammed by a super fast weaboo or face hugged by a shielder whilst they spam. Not to mention the excessive amount of knockdown weapons in DTV. Even nomads have extensive knock down capabilities with those maces and they can spam you better than weaboos.
Good to hear there will be some changes though.

The bots frequently go around the fence actually. I've played that map a few timesand have had a loss or tow because we were distracted and didn't notice a few bots ripping off the virgins clothes in the background.

I've spent a great deal of time playing DTV be it pre-patch or post-patch, and it was impossible to survive Defend the Tower/Ruin/Hill without camping of some sort.
When DTVirgin came out, which was a great update (Drastically reduced the amount of leeches and farmers, plus the re-purposed gamemode finally has lived up to its name in a comical way), I've made it to Engineers, Sexies, or Tincans more times than I did in pre-patch DTV without camping/glitching anything (other than having few players camping at the virgin to ensure her safety)
DTV has improved much, be it the gameplay, system, or the minor details that are hardly noticeable, it is a great gamemode that I enjoy even more than before.

People want to win. In order to win more easily they want xp and gold. So to get xp & gold they want gamemodes that give those fast. Logically, gamemodes that aren't optimal for farming aren't popular. And thus duel and DTV are barely alive.

Even on Ismirala (http://eelio.pagesperso-orange.fr/) bots cross only by the bridge, they are afraid of getting wet.
