Suggestions Corner / Set bundle of stickss on fire!

Burning weapons got me thinking again on how fire can be introduced on a battlefield.
Maybe deployable bundle of stickss that can be set on fire by a guy with a torch, and used as barriers for a certain ammount of time untill the fire goes out. Players would be able to jump over these burning obstacles if the loss of hp was justified, or wait for the bundle of sticks to stop burning, or just break the thing appart if they could afford to get exposed with the enemy on the other side.

The other main use of burning bundle of stickss would be to burn down gates and wooden doors, with steady slow damage input, as opposed to breaking them down faster with melee weapons and being exposed to ranged coming from above. Of course it would take 2 or more of these things deployed at the base of the gate to get the job done, depending on its size.

The new leather scale armor looks awsome, but its weak.

My renown had been stabilizing, so it's time for some more hate:

The recent archery nerfs where unfair, since it affects all archers not just kiters, and as I've heard it wasn't enought to completely remove kiting.

I propose reverting all the latest nerfs, exept the weight on bows, while making most quivers 3 slot, all bows 0 slot, and increasing the quantity of arrows by 50%. This would ensure 1 slot for a decent melee weapon, while depriving 2 quiver builds of some shooting power. Archers then would be more likely to pull out their weapon(like they do in native) than flee.

The crapiest arrows would have the same number they have now, but would be 2 slot instead to allow hybrids, and even with 2 quivers of those there would still be room for a 0 slot weapon. No more 3 quiver builds with no weapon.

Most importantly is the armor penalty. Armor slows people down, but also reduces ranged accuracy which results in bad ballance. Archers want to be as accurate as possible, so they tend to discard armor, which is another reason to flee. Like I've suggested before, increase the weight tolerance to the ranged mechanic allow an archer to wear medium armor without ranged penalties.

This would make armored archers able to outshoot light armored archers, while being too slow to kite, and always have a decent melee weapon with them.

That armor model doesn't seem to match any shoe model exept one. Some knee reinforcements would hide the difference.

I want to know exactly how much wp one can have in archery with 7 wm/21 agility, at level 33/34. Calculators dont seem to give me an accurate answer, so if anyone is using a high level 21 agi archer, please let me know.

people often talk about the lack of team cohesion in battle, and it's true. Many players just rush at the enemy not caring about startegy or teamplay, or anything, so I propose a penalty to keep them in line until the time is right, so as to simulate Battlefied tactics.
Any player who dies in the inicial 30 or 40 seconds of a battle would lose their multiplier, so that players would be more interested in sticking together, looking for couver against ranged, fortify positions, overall prepare for the incoming struggle as much as possible before the actual charge, similarly to what medieval armies did. Any lone heroes would quickly learn to wait for a while, with the rest of the team, rather than being shot to pieces by ranged.

Too many failed long ranged shots for a 2 slot weapon. Its bad enought that a 21 21 hornbow build beats a 18 24 longbow build in every way, longbows are the slowest and less accurate of all bows, making them the worst bows in an archery duel. We must at least be able to shoot people at long range.

I was thinking that setting limits to how many points you can put into each skill could help solve a lot of ballance issues. At first yeah, you'd lose some degree of personalization, but people often complain about certain buids beeing too overpowered or underpowered. So maybe those builds could be snuffed out simply by setting each skill with a limited number of points, this way we'd no longer have to deal with srt crutchers, agi whores,...
This way, ballancing classes would perhaps cease to be so one sided to the point of nerfing, and people who often complain about not being able to deal with a certain situation will be driven into a more stable build and perhaps QQ less on the forums(This goes for all classes).

I may not see all the ends of this, so post away.
