I've decided to re-do pretty much all the model textures for the 1h. I'm just not very happy with the way most of the swords turned out (they all pretty much looked like "sword" below). I plan to add a lot more ethnicity to the rune/design patterns so they should all end up looking a LOT better. It will just take a little longer...
Here are a couple models I feel alright showing. Let me know what you like and don't like.

If anyone's curious enough, here's a zip file with 
ALL of the one handed .brf, models and textures (no LODs or new scabbards).

And if anyone actually wants to test these out in-game:- put "finalboss_1h.brf" in "modules/crpg/resource" folder
- edit "crpg/module.ini", add the line "load_mod_resource = finalboss_1h" right after the line "load_mod_resource = kazakh_armor"
- put the textures in "crpg/textures" (if you get a loading error, you might need to put them in your "mountblade warband/Textures" folder as well)
- Make a backup copy of "crpg/item_kinds1.txt" and paste the new one from the .zip
After that you should be all set! 
BE WARNED: I haven't made the LODs yet so this could cause an FPS drop.
