Something similar, myself.

I am just a couple hundred thousand from retiring due to a few unexpected hours of X5 with my clan mates tonight, so this weekend I will start grinding for this:
(click to show/hide)

Honestly this level of wpf will work perfectly for me, and the PD will be bliss to have that again. I will miss my 7 ATHL though from my current build, but the 6PD was starting to piss me off so good riddance. I have tried all the possible variations and I will be the happiest with this build. If I reach any higher of a level then I will simply start converting Attribute points into additional Skill points and go nuts.
Assuming that I only start playing with just two of my alts instead of the whole rainbow, I should be able to attain this fairly quickly. I am growing tired of leveling my alts to Level 31 each anyways... I need some kind of goal, and 32 for alts is just silly.

I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.

Why wouldn't you put just 50 points into 1h? If you're putting 6 points into PS you can certainly spare 49 wpf.

And for powerdraw I thought it was only effective up until (Bow req. +2). Is there any point in going above 8 PD?

Probably because he is paranoid of how the HA will act when galloping across the battlefield, and wants to squeeze every last drop out of the reticule as possible. If he wears little to no armour and uses a fast one handed, he should be able to get away with a 1 wpf weapon just fine. A HA should assume first and foremost that he will be on his horse all trollface and pew pew, in my opinion.

Still need about 4 heirloom, so maybe if i'm still playing next year...

lvl 35

24 Str
24 Agility

16 skill to attribute

PS - 8
ATHL - 8
WM - 4

Crossbow - 120
Two handed - 100

Probably will never happen though...

why would you spend all those skill points trying to get so high agility and then not use it? You'd be better off with 24/21 and using those 7 skill points in wm, riding, etc.

The difference between 7 athletics and 8 athletics isn't much.
So with PT >10 stones become simple too effective

Maybe he is tired of being outrun by 7 ATHL archers

wpf is overrated... i'm an infantry don't need riding.

I never got enough athl. Already tried a 9-33 build with 11. So fun!  :D

Only 5 more retires for me before I can stop. I'm going for this lvl 34 build, lvl 35 is just too much exp to make a build for it, if I hit it great, but lvl 34 - 35 is 7 retires in itself.. I think lvl 34 is more realistic goal.

Level 34 (71 139 224 xp)

Strength: 27
Agility: 18

Hit points: 62
Skills to attributes: 12

Power Strike: 9
Shield: 6
Athletics: 6
Weapon Master: 2

One Handed: 131

That's what I'm gonna do for lvl 34, should be a beast. More than 130 WPF isn't needed unless you're wearing plate.
