Because buying another serial should not give you an advantage.

And it doesn't.

Unless you want to call "Being able to have fun with different builds without the need to grind" an advantage you shouldn't have in cRPG.
I always thought you wanted to create the mod in such a way it's not just an endless grindfest.

A skip the fun character can't use the markets, can't trade and you can easily exclude them from strategus.

What exactly is this advantage I shouldn't have?

If there wouldn't be an advantage to it, people wouldn't buy extra serials for it.

That's the point. It allows people features just because they have the game twice.

This is why STF will either be allowed for everyone, or no one. Either way, multiple serials will be disallowed.

Keypoint here. If you don't want people to use the feature, then don't implement it.

But that is not the intention behind this I think. I was considering about buying another serial for warband when it was on steamsales for 3-4 euros. But I didn't because I don't like the idea of having multiple accounts since it seems unfair towards other players. I am not a Jesus when it comes to morale and ethics but considering all the pros and cons I decided not to get another serial. Multiple serials are going to be prohibited, and I like fair play.

Maybe one STF- alt could be allowed to everyone to test builds, but not allowed to be main character? That would prevent this multiple account exploiting to happen in strategus? And maybe the money your STF character gets in the start would be transferred from your main char?

A TEST CHARACTER
- 1 Free test character per main.
- Insta 30.
- Can only be used in Duel or something?

This way people can make whatever build they want to test a new weapon etc...

(just realized odin already mentioned  this idea...but i def think it should be limited to duel servers or something)

Skip the fun was made exactly for no-grind requirement for strategus if i remember wrong. I do have extra serial, and i don't use if for skip the fun (ok, it's my brother account, but he don't play c-rpg currently, only PW mod, and i have ability to use it), not to mention that it's used on different rig than my own character (I also use it for the forum thanks to my laziness, btw chadz, it's possible to rename forum account or just delate it with option to create new one, or even without such option ? There are no such option in setting, and yeah, i would like to delate this account named urlukur).

Otherwise good suggestion, but I think you can't really test some builds in duelserver whether they are good or not. HA for example. No one wants to duel a horse archer on duelserver . And furthermore you cannot know if the build is suitable for real battle since duels are definetly nothing like battle.

I have a skip the fun to try builds and screw around. I wont ever try to use my other key in strat though. 1 player 1 strat char.
