Odd, my DL never asked for a CD code and just automatically confirmed from my steam version.

Same problem here, 5x5 key also. I know there's an official key converter but that could cause some problems in our cRPG accounts, no? (if the login info is linked to a cd-key and we change it...the db won't have the same info...so different account unless chadz modifies the db).

The only solution for our situation maybe is just to wait for an official cRPG update :/

Yeah.

Installing warband 1.134 somewhere else, copy paste everythin to the steam folder, remove autoupdate (at first) delete the new install, keep save games and voila.

You are referring to copying/pasting the Warband.exe file into the Steam's WB folder?

Not just the exe. The whole folder of the new install into the steam folder to replace all files.

1. Download Mount and Blade Warband here: http://download2.taleworlds.com/mb_warband_setup_1134.exe
2. After its done downloading run the installer and choose to install it someplace besides your steam directory: Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\
3. Take the cRPG file from your steam folder Ex. (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\mountblade warband\Modules\cRPG) and copy and paste it into the new modules folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Mount&BladeWarband\Modules)
4. After it has fininshed installing go to your steam library and right click on your Mount and Blade Warband and find "View CD Key"
5. When you start up warband from your new directory, paste the cd key if it asks you for one.
You should use this Mount and Blade and not the steam version until the steam one gets patched :l

They fixed the bug where chamberblocking an attack while holding a shield would still have the shield damaged!  Somehow that's always bugged me ridiculously...

Have you guys tried using the registry to change your cd keys?

Dont screw about with your registry unless you have total knowledge of what you are doing. Either use the fix posted here that works perfectly or wait.

Dont screw your PC to fix this when its not needed.
