Strategus light. This is a idea i have had for a long time, and it is kinda stolen from the DoD community.
We are all impatient for strategus to come out and with a server and a easy web page we can make the waiting time less boring
Think of this map, map is made by Noc thumbs up.
The player base and or clans can join one of theese factions:
Nords
Sarranid
Kerghits
Swadian
Vaegir
Rhodoks
All factions start with 1 fief on the map.
So a example is:
Nords ( Mercs,Fallen,Wolfs)
Sarranid (Risen,22nd,The_greys)
Kerghits (Guards,warpigs,DRZ)
Swadian (Templars,De Bitre,Pecores)
Rhodoks (Bandits)
Vaegir (VRN,searaiders,Ninjas)
All factions have there own free hieracy from General and or what ever and down.
All players use there own equipment but it would be fun if f.example Nords hold to Nordic gear and so on.
Communication shoud be a child board on the forums.where everything from choosing general to declaring wars
Clans can change factions with a 1 week freeze out.If a faction is defeated the clans in that faction can go with a 1 week freeze out to another faction aswel.
How to capture land:Monday to friday is movement day or pre battle phase.1 hex grid movment every 24 hours.
Every faction have only 1 army.
Every Saturday and/or Sunday is battle day.
All hexagonical grids have a time limit, for battle. Suggestions would be.
Bare land hex grid (6 hours fight)
Fief hex grid or partly hex grid (6 hours fight)
Towns and castles (12 hours fight)
Land that are not owned by a faction could be defended by all who wants to or is registerd in the strategus light.
What do we need to do this ? We need a good made web page with logg in and a flash based map (nocs map is superb)
I belive a good web page maker can make this in a mather of hours .... or a bit more
Its all about how advanced we want it.
We allso need access every saturday and sunday on a server. preferd with database access so we all get gold and xp.
We need custom made maps or older maps for each hex grid.
I think a smal thing like this coud be very good for our Crpg community as long as we keep it simple
