Overhaul system

When you become 31, there will be two options to choose:
1 - Heirloom as usual and give an item +1 stats.
2 - Stats stays the same but upkeep of the item that you choose decreased by %10 (limit +3=%30). I called it "Overhaul Level".

There will be both an heirloom level and an overhaul level of one specific item.

What do you guys think?

Hm not bad, guess it would give a reason to retire to those that have everything heirloomed.

I agree.

Especially if you could do this to items multiple times. On average, I usually keep stable income at around 45k worth of items. If I did this to all my gear, I could get another 5k worth of equipment in... which is the difference between a long spiked club and bec de corbin. If you "overhauled" all of your items multiple times, (say 3 or 4 times) you basically get 15k-20k more item value without loss. Thats top tier plate helmets and boots.

I don't see a big need to change the system this way.

I do believe that retirement for casual players does requirement more incentive though, but this would probably be a bad way of going about it.
So with PT >10 stones become simple too effective

This, in effect, will do almost exactly the same as heirlooming your items to +6. Since they are now so much cheaper, you can wear more gear, thus giving you more stats.

That applies to armor in particular.

people with fully heirloomed gear will just keep the stats an get the upkeep reduced rather then not retire or heirloom a new item not saying its a bad idea or a good one maybe think it out a bit more an it could work.

terrible balance idea. the armor costs money to repair for a reason....to prevent its use 24/7
