War Spear or Poleaxe are my favorites for 1 on 1 situations.
You think you're pretty smart with your dago mustache and your greasy hair.

I've never been stunlocked once.

Stun lock on high tier polearms (speed 93 and down) is a myth. Its just like the "it went through my block".
Yes stun gives you less time to block, but still enough, eventhough the animations arent showing that you are blocking you still are.

Anyway has a lot of people already have said, its a matter of personal preference whicih weapon you duel with.
But I suggest a weapon with at leat 91 speed and 130+ length.

That's what I thought, and that's always been my experience, ty for clearing it up :D

On the other hand: A weird bug that often happens to me is when I see that I get a good hit on my opponent with my poleaxe (i.e the "stun"), and I try to disengage (you know, to reconcentrate), and my opponent tries to spam a counterattack (this is very common), he seems to be just instantly "popping" out of the animation with a swing (making it very hard to block).

Has anyone else noticed this?

Is it because of the same reason you often see your character doing other stuff than it's supposed to (blocking the wrong way etc.), then half a second later "pop" back in into the correct animation?

Yet another reason I wish to see the stun removed^^

The factual length of Bec is akin to one-handed weapons. So if you're a practitioner of Helicopter-fu, stay away, just take LHB or Glaive. You can also try GLA, which is a better flameberge, but it's slow as all hell, so takes great blocking. Well, that's what I think anyway.

The Poleaxe is the best dueling polearm.

It has great damage, and great length. (better length than the bec, and the other poleaxes)
It has a bonus against shields (better than bec)
It has a wicked stab (31 damagee).  This is better than all spears and other poleaxes.  Because if its length, it is an awesome stab indeed.

Btw I have a +1 poleaxe for sale or trade if anyone's interested.  :D
It really is the best polearm, but I'm switching to 1h.

The Poleaxe is the best dueling polearm.

It's a good polearm, but at 89 speed, it's definitely not the best dueling polearm.

It is a fine, fine weapon. Love using it, even with 1wpf and some PS it's very nice, though I especially enjoy it in 1 vs many situations. Can't wait to MW a Battle Fork next!

Disagree.  89 speed is adequate.  All its other stats are superior!

Most difficult weapon to fight against is Bec in my opinion.
You cant allow more then 2 failblocks vs this beast.

<----<<

Maybe not the strongest, but it's fast, does a fine amount of damage, and it's beautiful.

It has the french rose on it... equals it's gay. Other then that it's very good, same speed as the great swords abit more length (on paper) more stab and about the same cut damage.

Gay, why? It looks nice imo.

I agree about the second part though, it's a nice rival of great swords, if you get used to it's length.
