Well the question is, Do you want Accuracy, Damage, or Speed

DAMAGE

Arrows

PS/Edit: Dont use the Warbow, its pretty much useless , just use the strong bow if you are thinking of using the Warbow

Afaik (I'm not an archer expert though), the mentality in EU is the exact opposite. Most archers put the stress on archer vs archer combat, in which draw speed is king. We have some str archers though, but not the majority. I also see much more warbows and strong bow than longbows among foot archers, with warbows being first. Also, with my limited archery experience I'm tempted to say that the accuracy is roughly the same with various bows and a fixed PD value. High PD bows have better shot speeds, thuis better arc and easier target tracking. Lower PD bows have smaller reticules but in the end shoot just as accurately because the arc is worse and the target tracking is much harder.

But don't take this for gospel. The only thing I'm sure of is that heirlooming your bow is way better than heirlooming arrows when you know you will stick with it, I've seen several dedicated archers stating this.

I hate archers, HATE THEM!!! However I also think you should loom the bow. You get better bow stats which will help you out a heap but even more importantly (IMO) is that you can sell it for a crap load on the market. My char atm is a "skip the fun" build so even though I can make it a main, I don't have market access so I can't check prices on loomed strong bows.

My guess is that loomed strong bows will be a big ticket item because horse archers are the most annoying thing in the world and if my years of experience on the internet has taught me anything at all its that people + internet = desire to troll. And the the horse archer is the biggest troll of them all. In saying all that nothing is more pleasing the leaping off a building and ripping a horse archers head off mid gallop. So its not all bad.

What's wrong with heirlooming the Warbow? (My Archer hits 31 soon and i'd like to try out a new build)
Sacrum Romanum Imperium
