Can  not sheath means if you try and put it on your back or use anything else, it will drop to the ground.

Currently my poleaxe build used to use a German Poleaxe and that was nice for cramped sieges, but I switched to using the Standard Poleaxe after a reccomendation and I have been doing amazingly well with it in almost any situation.

My current build I changed my mind and only have 66 wpf on olearms and 127 wasted on 2 hander (since I changed my mind), but I still do very well with it, so I suggest the following:

Level: 30
Strength: 24
Agility: 15
Converted: 8?
HP: 69

Power Strike: 8
Iron Flesh: 5
Athletics: 5
Weapon Master: 5

All wpf goes into Polearm (should give you about 140-ish say 149?)

My gear (which is sustainable and over the long run gives me money):
Poleaxe
Barbutte
Black Coat of Plates
Wisby Gauntlets
Light Strange Boots
So about 36K total in cost.

I hope that helps!

EDIT: The Swiss Halberd I do not like, as it can only overhead or thrust, no side swings.
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

Here's the build I use for fun and profit:

Level: 30
Strength: 27
Agility: 12
Converted: 8
HP: 74

Power Strike: 9
Iron Flesh: 6
Athletics: 4
Weapon Master: 4
WPF: 139

A variant of this would be to go 9 IF and 1 Athletics. You won't really notice the speed difference anyway.

I use an heirloomed German with this build and can 1-shot a good chunk of people. I'm also fast enough to not get outspammed even when wearing plate. I use the German 'cause I like how it looks. Also, it's good to stack strength with polearms 'cause their high initial damage really benefits from added PS.

The best polearms are the swingable, and longest ones. So the GLA, LHB and regular poleaxe are logically the best ones. You can try the long hafted dildos too.

The GLA requires more agi and the LHB more str to get the best performance. The poleaxe is balanced. Note that any build between 16/24 and 24/15 works with any of those weapons, and the final choice should be made considering the agi/str ratio that works best for you.

If you want to get style points, however, 2 attacks polearms are what you are looking for.

Poleaxe is slower than GLA, how is it "balanced"? Elegant Poleaxe is the golden middle, imo. Bec is also nice for quick of foot builds.

The Poleaxe is the best polearm.

It has great damage, and great length. (better length than the other poleaxes and the bec)
It has a bonus against shields (better than bec)
It has a wicked stab (31 damage).  This is better than all spears and other poleaxes.  Because if its length, it is an awesome stab indeed.

Btw I have a +1 poleaxe for sale or trade if anyone's interested.  :D
It really is the best polearm, but I'm switching to 1h.

Stop reposting this, we have a market section for a reason...

To OP, I rock 21-18 (4if, 7ps, 6ath, 6wm) and it's awesome for the poleaxe.
