Impossible to profit as cavalry.

Using a courser and a lance and nothing else, I am losing money. This is unfair to cavalry; horse price should be decreased.

I found this strange. With a courser, heavy lance, and light armour (I used the light strange armour), I won money, Not a lot, but something in the long run.

You have bad luck, try to have 20k at least, and sometimes you will lose a bit of money, but afterwards you will win it back.

At the end I even wore a 2nd weapon sometimes (usually a cheap one), and I didn't lose any money. In fact, I won 40k in level 30.

If you were nothing and just have a lance and courser they will break all the time. From what I understand each minute there is a chance that one of the items you are using will break (Note one per minute). So actually wearing more gear will save you money. Running around naked is dumb and shouldn't be done even on horseback. If I we run around naked I wouldn't use more than a practice sword.

Cav should never have to resort to running around on foot due to lack of money.

My cav character rarely has to grind anymore. I often use a steppe horse for most situations, nomad armor, heavy lance, and a hafted blade. On average, I make a decent amount of money.
So with PT >10 stones become simple too effective

I guarantee you will make money if you use a 10k horse, light armor, heavy lance and a cheap sidearm.

Personally I break roughly even with courser, light armor, heavy lance and military scythe. That's roughly 33k worth. It's very random, though. 3 unlucky rounds and I'm down 3k+.

This isn't how it works. My understanding is that each minute, each item you are using has a 4% chance of breaking, tallied at the end of a round. Repair costs are 5% of the item's buy value. Each item has its own break chance independant of whatever else you're wearing, so naked or fully armored, your horse's repair costs will not be affected. You should be able to break even with just a lance and courser, but you might need a good amount of buffer gold to protect you from a spree of bad luck in the short term.

Currently 57k. I played roughly 20 hours with this and I won 1k, but I think I will loose money over time. You need a very big starting buffer if you want to play cav.

Your ability to one hit everything and everyone including str builded behemoths in the game is unparralleled. Couple it with a shield, high armour for added survivability and you're complaining, not only that you're lying.
