Often crowds just run into battle. Sometimes we got a clue from the last round but dont have enough time to share it with the others. TS is surly good but many are only in the text chat.
If we want to use more tactics we need to commucnicate. If we want to communicate we need the time to do so.
Also if we got a 20-30 sec delay most of the people who are connecting could be there. So spreading thin is perhaps no more or less a problem.
Additionly it came to my mind, then would be a good time to do polls, perhaps you can even restrict it to these times where fighting people aren't disturbed by polls.
