I wonder if it's worth AEF going through the motions of making the server an official one, then they'd have the weight of the dev team behind them for all their just decisions.

Tonight was a very enjoyable night with no team wounding or killing untill not long after the admin left and then these 2 inncidents occured.

1stly was Mrs Ass who team wounded at spawn and later went on about the AEF server will be shut down soon so enjoy it while it last(just as LPK members keep saying.

2nd was formular one hitting my horse at spawn for no reason,as you can see my horse lost more then half its life in the 1 second difference between shot 1 and shot 2.

Dutchy how did I make you post this? I did not tell you to post what you posted and I wasn't even on the computer when that happened. I didn't make you do anything. It's your choice to upload this as it's your choice to continue crying and raging over your 1 day ban. Suck it up princess. Also you have nothing on LPK in your post so this doesn't concern me. Dutchy how come you screen shots of "killing your horse" do not actualy show his weapon  conecting with your horse. (he could have blocked there to pull it out mid swing as if he were fienting)

And the team wounding is incomprehensable.

Dutchy swings carelessly and horsebumps teammates while trying to attack the opponent, sometimes losing the round for his team. As uncoordinated as he is, I don't believe he is doing it intentionally because it is not consistent or specifically targeted towards anyone.

I would also like to add that I'm worried about LPK's intentions to host their own server. I think the reason for setting it up is very questionable and controversial especially if it is going to be owned by Redemption. A player who has been punished numerous times for racial/derogatory comments and misbehaving not just on AEF's server but also on previous Australian cRPG servers.

Why he feels the need to behave like this, to retaliate and lash out against people who he feels may have hurt his position or compromised his dignity or intelligence is beyond me.

Taking this into account and a few of the LPK member's inability to resolve disputes appropriately, the time-wasting flame war that a few of them have involved themselves in and a few unnecessary and inappropriate comments made by them, do you really think they are capable of maintaining a server with utmost care and integrity?

Don't take my post the wrong way and please don't resort to black and white thinking. I'm not siding with AEF. I think some of the AEF members have done the wrong thing and handled situations very poorly from time to time but launching your own server in retaliation to disciplinary action is not going to fix any problems. It will however cause more problems for the Australian cRPG community.

Appeals are handled by admins from a neutral 3rd party with no involvement whatsoever to the incident so they won't be biased.

1. You join GameArena anonymously under an alias that advertises a pornographic website.
2. I pull you into spectator and ask you to change your name.
3. You call me "Slantie eyes" and then leave the server.
4. Within a minute, you rejoin the server with another offensive and inappropriate name.
5. I take disciplinary action.

This is a summary of why I wish to host a server: Alright, I disagree with some of AEF's choices, and I am quite irritated that they banned my best mate, PK_Owens_III. So, I know he enjoys cRPG, and I like playing with him, I have reached thr verdict of launching my own server. Honestly, I say that I have nothing against you, despite our bitter history. If I was to launch this server (more than likely), I would not invest in permanent bans ever, and would put my bias' and prejudices behind me in regards to all players. Caesar is more mature than me,

Why no permanent bans do you ask? I believe that permanent bans would just dissipate an already small community, hence are an unwise resort for bad behaviour. I can understand that you of all people would be worried in regards to me hosting a server, and that's justifiable. I do act immature at times, I admit that, but I still wouldn't let that lead me astray into power abuse.

So, in a one-sentence conclusion: The major initiative behind me hosting a server, is so Owens can play.

In response to the GameArena stuff, I think you have got me mistaken for someone else? I only ever play on GoN servers in native, I've never been in GameArena. Also, I don't use alias', I used to use PK_Red_Corsair as my native name, but as of late, I've been using my cRPG name.

 I think it could prove mutually beneficial if you were to see me in a different light. An example of this could be when you and darvos ridiculed Natasha for giving me a chance through steam. It's your call.

Well that is the nicest way I have ever been called unco.I would like to think has a lot to do with the fact I have only been playing Warband for about 4months and that I am getting better and these unfortunate inncidents are becoming fewer.Yes I have realised that I have pissed a lot of people off(mainly LPK)with these accidents and I have decided that I will be trying extremly hard to minimise this.1stly next gen I wont be making a cav charactor as thats where 99% of this happens.

Yes I admit I have intentionally teamhit on rare occasions and it has always been in retaliation after having my horse killed many rounds in a row by team mates or being team hit many rounds in a row intentionally.Yes I learnt the hard way this is against the rules and will not be tolerated,hence im on my last chance.I promise I will never retaliate by hitting back ever again and instead will retaliate by taking screenshots and posting them here.I will not be posting accidents and its always quiet obvious the difference between an accident or a deliberate team wound.I would imagine there is more chance I would win lotto then never accidently hit a team mate again.I will be taking the up most care to reduce these accidents,but considering its a battle server and ganking the enemy is by the rules im sure all players will get the occasional team hit/kill.

Personally I hate Baxter_the_Courageous' cavving more than Dutchy's, he often spends entire rounds horsebumping team mates. If I ever find out who that little snooler is he's going down.

If you really think that you have nothing against me then:

1. You wouldn't be making so many racial slurs towards me any opportunity you get
2. You wouldn't have convinced yourself that "Roman hates me" as you said so in the AEF server a few days ago.

I think your narcissism (and perhaps even your personal insecurities) is impairing your judgement and affecting how you perceive others and their actions.

In light of this, if you were to own a server, I personally wouldn't trust you to make suitable, unbiased, mature decisions. You even said so yourself that you think Caesar is more mature than you. No offense to Caesar but that flame war with Dutchy on this forum wasn't very mature. Where does that put you on the maturity scale?

If you're trying to convince me not to host a server, then good luck as you won't change my mind. As for making immature decisions, time will tell as to whether or not I will make bad choices. Like I said, if you have a problem, i'd be more than happy to find a resolution via discussion through steam, as this sub-forum is not the place to debate whether or not I should host a server.

I'm only defending myself from Dutchy raging at me (just because he was banned for a day). What am I meant to do? Stand back and watch while he 'attempts' to mock me and the rest of LPK? No, I defend myself and the others he attacks in his 'rage'. He's meant to be a man, not cry like a baby and then want revenge all because I turned him in for not following the AEF rules. He thinks I set him up, but I can honestly tell you I did not.

It's obvious that Dutchy broke a rule because he was disgruntled and I don't blame him. He cops a lot of rubbish from players in game and on this forum who try so gratuitously to prove him wrong and put him down.

Dutchy responded to his ban by accusing you of trying to shoot him in the back, provoking him and setting him up. This may or may not be true but Dutchy certainly believes it to be true.

What doesn't make sense to me is why Dutchy, a relatively new player of good standing with no prior history for harassing people or intentionally teamhitting/teamkilling would try to teamhit you all of a sudden. I think something happened to provoke him. Maybe you fired your crossbow too close and he thought you were trying to teamhit him or maybe you really were trying to aggravate him, if so then you should be punished as well.

Either way, what's done is done and it's time to move on because it doesn't matter now. At the end of the day, Dutchy shouldn't have responded the way he did. He could've held himself back and just reported the incident but he didn't and so he was slapped with a 1 day ban.

Rebutting every one of his statements you disagree with is not going to make your penis grow any bigger than his or anyone elses.

WTF has this got to do with anything...you say I'm not that mature. But okay if you want to bring immaturity and truth in to this...mine already is. I thought a man of your standing wouldn't bring this subject in to something that doesn't relate in the slightest.

Him to stop team killing, team wounding and retaliating would be nice. Though I should not expect too much of Dutchy because well... it's Dutchy.
