I have always had crappy mouse :D It took me really long time to switch to optical from mechanical.

Dude, the MS intellimouse is what I was using before my deathadder.  Except mine had the extra thumb button on the side which is why I can't use a mouse without at least 1 thumb button anymore.  Just so handy for things like crouch or in Warbands case, kick.

Anyways, good mouse even if the DPI is really low.

This is my mouse, really not a gaming mouse.

So sometime my attack are released even if i'm still holding the button, I suspect it's the cordless aspect of it. And that the computer and the bluetooth receiver is in the other room.  :P

But playing M&B on a 47" HDTV while sitting on my couch is priceless!  :mrgreen:

I have the same mouse... its horrible.  :cry:

The battery lasts waaay to short, and often i get this weird lag, probably because its cordless

My friend had similar extra expensive mouse like that once. He was playing CS proffesionally and had low sensitivity. I played with his mouse once but im not used to low sensitivity so i have lifted the mouse when i reached right end of mousepad and then i landed with it with heavy sound on the left side. He almost killed me with his gaze when i have done it :D He even used teflon mouspad and sticked teflon tape on the mouse too :)

Ugh. Sucks to be you. Go get yourself a USB mouse. Seriously.
My keyboard and mouse are both wireless when I use my laptop and it sucks big time. I get super weird lag and sometimes it just stops responding randomly so I'll be walking and then all the sudden stop or I'll pull back the bow and it randomly releases it. USB is the way to go for sure.

MX518, on the other hand, is the worst mouse ever. I still have it, and it does OK for a laptop mouse, but otherwise eww.

I had a 10 dollar mouse almost forever.  I finally bought myself a good mouse for christmas like 2 years ago and have never looked back.  I dont think I could ever go back to a non-gaming mouse after having made the switch.  There is just so much more that a good mouse adds to the game and can also offer you in your every day PC use that a chump mouse doesnt.

Besides, I play way more games then just cRPG.  Its almost a must for FPS games to have something responsive you can rely on.

and:  CORDED MICE FOREVER

never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never never go with a wireless mouse.  It doesnt matter how good the technology gets, you will always be limited by broadcast and processing speeds coupled with battery life.  A nono for any competetive gamer.

edit: you also might want to stick with USB.  I havnt seen a PS2 connection on a new board in a long time.  not to mention that USB is a much much faster input than serial

I used a wireless logitech mouse, similar to this, (different receiver) note the 2,4ghz wireless, worked really well for gaming, actually. Since it broke, i've been using either a really cheap and crappy wireless mouse or a half-broken, cheap wired mouse. Both suck really hard in comparison, but i can play.
Dunno about lag, but corded mice feel uncomfortable for me when gaming, the cord seems to get in the way.

I see the cord issue, and I used to hate when i would get caught on things.

Its one reason I also really like my sidewinder.  the cord wrangler is great, I dont even notice it anymore.
Once I adjusted the length I wanted for my desktop in terms of mobility, it just keeps everything out of the way.  Its pretty much a big paperweight on the edge of my desk with the cable fed through it.

They should sell this item seperately, actually.  I bet a lot of people would use one.
