Tbh Russia had really great team this year with proper coaching. Even Ovechkin was playing for the team and not for himself this time. Malkin is the best player in the world right now because he is in fire! They played a great game. Finland had no chance in 4 vs 5. Those penalties broke our game completely and Russia used every situation to their advantage. Respect for the red machine.
It still doesn't remove the fact that Finland played better hockey in this shared home tournament than Sweden
. We still can have the bronze medal if the hockey gods are on our side (Odin and his sons
). Hell Norway played well too! Didn't they give Russia a good opponent in the quarterfinals? So they went as far as Sweden LOL!
