I think better set the condition for xbows:difficulty from srt and wpf for eample ~130 wpp for sniper xbow.And return befor patch damage.

I think that crossbow difficulty should be POWERDRAW.

Smoke less pot friend, xbows barely got affected, dmg only came down to limit light and hunting crossbow from 1hit kills on peons.

I think you should take your own advice and stop smoking whatever you've been toking on. Xbows got nerfed into the dirt. Sniper/Siege xbow went from 100 damage to 70, still has a super-long reload, and an 18k pricetag. People in peasant clothes survive shots to the chest. Think again.

Outside of the fact that they don't, and people with decent IF and light armor can still be 1 shotted. It's just not a rail gun insta kill anymore unless you actually have skill and aim for the head. They also do pierce damage so your chances for a glancing blow are SIGNIFICANTLY less vs. other damage types. Etc, etc, blah, blah....

Hint, hit them in the torso or head, it helps 1 hit killing them.

Xbows are fine, there is no need for 1 hit killing ranged weapons. If anything, reduce their price a bit, and increase price of bows and arrows.

I shot an archer wearing a black robe and no gloves in the chest with a double heirloomed siege xbow. He lived, shot me twice while I was wearing mail, and I died.

A likely story. FRAPS or it didn't happen. I can believe the no killing him part with 2 shots if he had some crazy amounts of IF, or if you were just VERY unlucky and the 2nd shot glanced him.

But him 2 shotting you in mail from full health just doesn't happen unless the 2nd shot was a headshot. Headshots fro some reason don't always trigger the headshot kill message and that's probably what happened here.

I don't need to FRAPS. Everyone on here knows I'm trustworthy. And besides, the archer in question was a member of ATS, and can confirm it if you really need confirmation.

I only wear a white tunic and have been shot by a crossbow bolt in the chest and survived.  Granted, I have 3 points in iron flesh (because this is my first character so I wasn't really thinking) but I doubt it contributed to my survival considering I only lost about 60% of my health.  The poor guy tried to run away but I'm an archer with a khergit bow, he couldn't get far D=.  Really the only way I die from crossbows is from headshots, and I'm supposed to be squishy.  I don't think it's right.
