Basically, I want a totally new slot mechanic, a more global one, a more complex one that could consequently work as a better balance for items without having to change the actual stats of said item.
200 total slots, everything will cost a certain number of slots, horses, armors, weapons, shields, you name it.
So, by adjusting the slots for every items, we'll be able to prevent people running around in full black armor with a flamberge and a crossbow, or full black armor with 2 different weapons and a steel shield.
This can also be used for balancing mean, if a weapon is deemed overpowered, just make it use more slots so that it cannot be used in conjunction with the high end armors or shields.
