Getting around Upkeep

This is something you should read before posting any suggestions about upkeep in general.
We get it, its new, its change and people don't like change.
Still, stop posting suggestions that are basically a way around upkeep. I get that too, i thought like that as well, but now that i started playing the new patch I am really enjoying it.
So instead of thinking up things like: "One item that gets free upkeep" or "A repair skill to make items cheaper to repair", just remember that all of this has already been suggested and that instead of changing it back to the way it was, just grab your sword and try to have some fun.

Upkeep is fine maybe reduce a little price of gloves but nothing game breaking.

Tough since patch cav keep on rising and it's not something I'm enjoying a lot.

I lose money if I lose my horse. Even with a 5x multi (when I break out the horse to help keep it), I lose money as soon as the horse gets damaged.

Upkeep is a realy nice idea..But it's bad at the moment. I play in gambison with a nordic champions sword.

More or less each round i've to repear it, 400 gold...with a x1 I don't earn 400.

A simple sword is too costy to upkeep..

Solution to LordSnows problem: win more!
400 isn't much at all. If your average round last 4 minutes, having on average an x2 multiplier will make you break even. This is assuming that your stuff breaks every round, which isn't the case.

Solution to lordsnow problem is to change banner so he can get more than a 1X multiplier.

The tag/banner association in one team so you can play with you clan is very nice. But when all the Pecores get switched to one team against elitist clan like  merc or drz it's a very painful  slaugter .
If you play with the banner of Pecores you win round way less than 50 % of the time if you play on eu4_bt1 because of this.

I have to say, the around 20 rounds i was in, when there was a similar number of DZR and Pecores on the server Pecores had more than 50% wins. I Don't knw about Mercs haven't seen more than 2-3 together in a while.
