- Daenerys has to die in some heroic way to free the space for John
- Once on the iron throne John will "dissolve" it in favor of democracy

The Iron Throne is disassembled and a major character dies from a wound from one of the swords, which prevents them from sitting on the throne victorious, so the next in line for the character becomes the lord of the ring, but there's no throne for him to sit on. Ends with Westeros being transformed into a communism.
