So you judge all based on the actions of a few? One guy in my showing laughed really loud at the trailer for Hobbs and Shaw but thats ablout it. But yeah probably best not to watch on opening weekends let the masses get it done with then go when less people in theater.
From the sound of it, some cinemas have a ton of people going bananas. Even if theres just a few, thats enough to ruin the experience. I had someone chew gum loudly next to me once, it only takes one.. cant remember the movie, but it wasnt particularly good so it was hard to stay focused either way
I've heard RedLetterMedia complain about the movie going experiences too, and theyre movie buffs so they watch a ton of stuff. I can agree that it probably gets better after some weeks of showing, but it sounds like the movie going etiquette is definitely lacking imho.
