The first one was a classic, played it through a bunch.

trailer is okayish, hope it has nothing to do with actual gameplay tho

bloodlines best game, will be hard to hit jackpot twice, especially in this day and age when most games are generic bullshit without soul

i've been wanting this or a world of darkness MMO for ages. hear tell that one of the main writers for the original is associated with this project, but forget in what capacity.

boy, it'll be easy for them to fuck it up and hard as hell for them to come close to VtMB. thoughts and prayers

The first one was amazing, in a way they have all the keys to success right there. I just hope they don't blow this chance

Looked fairly underwhelming and some things like lip sync were outright bad, but can't tell too much from that. We'll see.

Looks really low quality. Horrible lip syncing, awful first person animations, you seem to just be a floating camera in FP, combat looks awful. Horribly disconnected third person animation moves and the core combat has awful animations for both the player and the NPCs and doesn't look satisfying at all. I've rarely seen combat that's more underwhelming. AI sucks, animations suck, combat mechanics suck, there's nothing good to be said for it at the moment.

Now they say it's "pre-alpha" but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Sometimes these E3 demos look better than the release versions. My hype levels have gone down a LOT after seeing this gameplay, I no longer expect this to be a good game.

Tbh, the first game had god-awful animations and combat, not the reason people played it.

Yes, it came out in 2004 when that wasn't out of the norm. These days it says rather more if an AAA studio produces low quality combat and graphics. It's very unlikely the gameplay is going to be extraordinary otherwise, with combat and the quality of animations etc., etc somehow being the exceptions. Modern sequels as a rule also don't have nearly the amount of freedom old games had either.

Also, the game is being made by a studio that has one game to their name, a free-to-play FPS game that was very low quality. There's no reason to believe they can do justice to this series.

Yeah I was disappointed when I watched the game play but I can't say I am surprised lol, definitely not a project for such an inexperienced/unproven team. Some things looked ok but so much else was bad that I doubt they're going to improve it enough to make it decent. The animations for opening/going through doors really bugged me too for some reason lol.

utter shit if u ask me

has all the downsides of 15 year old game, none of the good parts

writing is terrible in this little gameplay snippet. in case you have forgot hows bloodlines in that regard, you can watch sseths recent video.

that toreador bitch is copycat character, completely souless and slug seems to be their attempt at making interesting npc but it seems rushed and utterly boring

kinda split on matter should this come out or be canceled. want more bloodlines so this crap may help a little bit but will damage the name first game created for itself
