It's a shame really. All they had to do was slap some new graphics on it (which admittedly they did) and get rid of some of the most egregious features ie. floor stabbing but instead what they did was try to become a counter strike with swords of some sort.

I thought for sure they would steal the persistent characters and upgradeable equipment model from cRPG. Would have added endless playability to their game. It really is impressive that they could fumble so hard with their followup.

Its pretty clear much of the dev team changed up, and clearly the new leadership has no idea what goes into making a high quality melee medieval combat game. as shows with 99% of the melee medieval combat genre.
