Archery is killing EU1

I see people coming to dtv and ask "Eu1 after this?" people go there and play but it barely lasts 20 munites and they came back to Dtv or just simply play something else im not against ranged this game is not made for melee players but they are dominating the game when they increase in numbers asking people to switch melee or getting mad at ranged is not a solution what im suggesting is a nerf i may be wrong but thats my point of view please dont let this awesome mod die

to be honest, apart from Algarn, Austri and bagge, most other ranged players are shit at melee combat, thats why they play ranged.

Next time you are on EU1 and that russian bundle of sticks Yageti_Sax or whatever the fuck his name is, look at how bad he is...

Panos_, bro, peace. i like crpg. I have big ping for normal melee. I am in Asia. All these years I played only on siege.

In early years was Russian server, on it I played in melee build. There were a lot of shooters, I dragged with myself a two-handed and shield. I did not whine, I coped with difficulties.
Now there are a lot of strong monster players, and somehow despite all their skill they whine. I do not understand.
For me the server kill unkillable players.

Tons of 0 slot shields and their weights were all reduced to make them have minimal effect on melee capabilities when on your back (alternatively H is a hotkey to drop your shield instantly). I recommend the Viking Shield (test)

when few players, archers have bigger impact, just like cav and throwers

when few players, its the players who must try to balance it out evenly by picking a proper class in right situations, for sake of gf, sportsmanship

besides... why not go to a target rich environment like DTV if you just want to practice range. its borderline trolling when there is 3 players online and then 1 range join
