check the gold section carefully and u will see

so i reveal it right after i discover it. We wont gonna take advantage from it but sadly Tormatun will stop playin strat.

Because this round suppose to make mod alive and make strat more fun (bug free). no one plays in public server.. strat battles are no fun..

Also not a single person can not give me the insurance of no one discovered and take advantage from this bug before i reveal it..

I tried to get it fixed in strat 6 at the end. So it seems we are back again at the moneyprinting loving strategus game.

so hereby i too resign from playing until it is fixed.

Yeah I told prof about it too last strat. He already knew about it when I told him so you and others beat me to the punch. Thought it was fixed with 60% being the max but I guess not.

Hmm I have over that in one of my fiefs but I can't go past 60. Dont see the option.

I have over 500 PP and I can't reduce past 60% either. I wonder if somehow it is only fixed for NA? That doesnt even make sense lol

the max discount should be set at 60%. i'll recreate the bug and figure out where things went wrong, and fix it for good this time


fixed. will consider how to proceed from here with regards to abuse of the bug. either

• reset entire strat (pp is wack anyway)
• reset just eu strat (us goodboy na players haven't abused it)
• reset strat back to earlier in the week when the bug was not abused
• manually lower the silver gain of those guys to what it was earlier

if strat isn't reset, it's likely i'll employ measures to drastically reduce PP. in a way that is fair, so that people who invested points get those points back somehwat

thanks for bringing this to my attention. it turned out that some older pages (shops page for fiefs) used different constants than the newer ones do, which is just dandy to deal with. anyway, this should not be an issue in the future

Just reset entire strat. Learning about this silver laundering crap through this thread just took the whole enjoyment away I've had for strat.
Thanks for making it public though and also thanks to Prof for fixing it, but that's sadly not going to change the fact, that there are now people sitting on millions of silver or worth of gear to cover it.

The other three options won't really work imo. Option two would made things unbalanced, since both strat maps are connected. Option three, since the bug was already known way before the start of this round of strat, there's just no point to revert strat for just one week. Last option won't really work either, people who abused the bug could've already bought tons of gear. Beside that it seems to be a lot of work to identify everyone who abused it.

Gonna pause my strat activities and wait for a reset for now, plenty of people wanted already a reset beforehand anyway, because of the insane amount of PP and therefor insane amount of S&D this strat.

pretty easy to identify those scoundrels, quick sql queries will show me who has vast amounts of silver or equip. in any case, i'll begin downloading the backup from a week ago and hope that the discount bug was not discovered by then
