But, as long as I am "in charge" of this, Linux wont ever take place.

So how is it that you are given leave by the devs/admins to give all participants 1 mill xp win or lose but then be able to deny who can or can not participate?

He didnt get any approval disallowing specific people to participate, at least i cannot recall and would be highly surprised if it was the case since he is not paying for the rewards and it is a community event.
