Im very sceptical. I think Warbands melee is very good, but could easily be made mediocre or even bad if they make some smaller design changes in the wrong way.

There is a matchmaking system like CS GO in bannerlord. You do 5v5's but also get 10 bots under your command, when you die you respawn as one of your NPC's.

Pretty much this. If it's even a small step backwards in terms of combat depth, it will be a devastating blow to ye old warbanders. Just hoping it isn't dumbed down too much to cater to casuls. Could go either way, putting it out of mind until at least 2020 anyway.

I wonder if they are even aware of their creation, and what makes it good. They could see it completely differently and have no clue what is attractive to us. Not even catering to casuals, just changing things they didnt intend the game to be, thinking people are in the same mindset. I always felt like the game was lightning in a bottle, just out of chance the singleplayer weird clunky combat happened to be incredibly deep as soon as one put effort into actually learning it.
