Two main chars, two copies of M&B, one computer

Is it possible to have two main characters in C-RPG? Just to keep things more interesting.

Let's say I have two copies of M&B, but only one computer. Can I have a steam version and a non-steam version from Taleworlds.com? Will C-RPG recognize the accounts differently due to different serial numbers?

I got two copies of M&B, two main chars but only computer, too. I got 2 stamaccounts (both with 1 copy of M&B) to handle it and I never had any problems with it.

Yeah just don't try to be two different characters in strategus and exploit anything and you'll be ok.

You can do it on one account i believe, Just change your key in the registry key

, exactly what I was thinking, just bought a $10 copy from amazon yesterday so I could do the level 30 and try a  bunch of fun builds without the grind.

You can change the warband key that's activated in your computer's registry.

EDIT: Since someone already said this I'll explain how in detailed steps.

1/ Press the Windows key+R, opening Run, type 'regedit' in the field.
2/ Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MountAndBladeWarbandKeys.
3/ Double click serial_key.
4/ Paste in the key you want to use, you can save your keys in a notepad file or whatever.

I exactly tryied this, changing key under "serial_key" Problem is: The printed key i recived with the CD is 5x 5 digits long, in steam he gives me a 4x 4 digits long "multiplayer key" After i start the game it automaticly changes the key back to the one steam gives me, what do i do wrong?

Yes, it would. Atleast if each account has a warband key.
